Zelda's P.O.V

Navi and I spent days barricaded in my room within the castle. The days were growing darker and all it did was rain. It wasn't a very good omen. My door was guarded 24/7 and there was no other way out besides the balcony. I contemplated escaping through there, but I didn't want to danger the baby so I stayed put. "You know you can just fly away Navi." I suggested. "And leave you?" She inquired. "No way." She added. "I appreciate your loyalty Navi, but I'd really like to know what's going on out there. Especially regarding Link." I explained. "I'll go and see what I can find out." Navi stated as she flew out the window and dodged raindrops. I sat by the window and gazed out towards the horizon. I was so worried about Link I could hardly sleep or eat, but I pushed myself to try for the sake of the baby. I smiled as I felt the child kick inside of me. I placed my hand against my belly and laughed at the feeling. Oh how I wished that Link was here and that he could share this moment with me. My melancholy mood was interrupted by a knock at the door. "Yes?" I called. "You have a visitor your Majesty." The guard stated from outside the door. "I didn't think I was allowed visitors." I laughed sarcastically. The door then opened to reveal Ronin's grandfather. He appeared very ill, and struggled to walk. I quickly made my way to him and helped into a chair. "Please excuse my current state Milday, I seem to have been fighting my time." He laughed. Ronin's grandfather was very old indeed but his lifespan was remarkable. "Here let me get you some water." I suggested. "No!" He exclaimed while grabbing my arm. "There's no time. I'm fading fast Zelda, I can feel the Goddesses calling me." He explained. I then nodded for him to continue as I pulled up a chair beside him. "I think I can help you and Link. My knowledge is vast and from what I've heard Link plans to open the Temple of Time." He explained. "Yes he plans to open the temple." I stated. "He has gathered the Spiritual Stones then?" Gordon's father inquired. I nodded my head yes to answer his question. "He can't open the temple without the Ocarina of Time." He coughed. "But where is it?" I asked. "It was buried with her." He tried. Ronin's grandfather began to struggle to speak. His breathing was slowing and his eyes were becoming glassy. I feared his death was near. "Buried with who?" I asked. "Your great, great, great grandmother."He whispered. "The chosen hero gave it to her so she could send him back to his own time. The instrument is buried with her within the crypts beneath the castle." He explained. "Is this common knowledge?" I asked. Gordon's father nodded his head no. "You must destroy it before Link finds it." He suggested.  I noted his warning as I held his hand. He was fading and fast. "Stay with me here. You can't go yet. Laura needs you still." I cried. "She doesn't need me. She's a strong girl." He laughed as he coughed. He was silent for a bit before he looked at me. "Tell my family I'll be watching over them now with Ronin at my side. Tell them I love them." He stated with a smile as he took his last breath. "No." I cried. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I closed his eye lids and called for the guards. "Guards!" I called. They entered the room and saw my tears. "What happened?" One of the guards asked. "He died." I sighed. "Can you please take him to his family?" I inquired. I saw sympathy in both of the guards eyes as I cried. "Yes Milady right away." One of the guards stated. They both lifted the body and carried it out of my room. They disappeared down the hall with his body until I was alone. I wiped away my tears and then realized something. I was no longer guarded. "Now's my chance." I thought to myself as I quickly, and quietly snuck down towards the crypts beneath the castle. The last time I was down here was when I was being put to rest myself. I recalled the moment when I was brought back to life. Link was there. I was in his arms and saw the elation on his face as I woke up. I smiled at the thought as I entered the crypt. Generations, and generations, of my family's line was buried down here. It was dark and damp down here as I looked among the tombs. Each one was labeled with the name of the dead buried within them. My great, great, great grandmother's name was Zelda as well so it wasn't hard to find her. "Found it!" I exclaimed as I reached the end of the crypt. Her tomb was old and covered in cob webs. I pushed open the concrete slab covering her grave. It fell off the tomb and onto the floor causing a ruckus. It was loud and echoed throughout the tomb. I was quiet for a few moments to see if anyone had heard that and was coming down here. There was no indication of anyone else down here so I proceeded with the mission. "Hiya Zelda." I greeted as I peered inside the tomb to see a skeleton dressed in fine clothing. She wore a golden crown and held the Ocarina of Time in her bony hands. "There it is!" I exclaimed. I reached down into the tomb and grabbed the instrument. "Sorry Zelda, I need this." I apologized as I took it from her grave. I then quickly ran back to my room. The guards still hadn't returned but when I went back into my room but Navi had. "Zelda there you are!" She exclaimed. "I've got important news!" She stated. "What is it Navi?" I asked. "They found Link."She answered. "What?! How?" I questioned. "Link approached the Castle's gates and surrendered. Armani sent him to the dungeons. He didn't put up a fight or anything." Navi explained. "He's planning something." I realized. "What do you mean?" Navi asked. "Link could have easily taken Armani's whole guard. He surrendered on purpose. He's planning something." I explained.
