Zelda's P.O.V

"He must know I have the Ocarina of Time." I stated. "You do?" Navi asked. "I just found it now." I explained as I showed the instrument to her. Navi flew to me and landed on the instrument in my hands. She looked it over and then nodded. "Its the real deal alright." She confirmed. Suddenly the doors opened to my room. Armani burst in with satisfaction plastered on his face. "We have him in our custody now." He stated. "You mean he surrendered." I corrected. "Are you going to tell me what's really going on here or not Zelda. I'm just trying to help here. I want the best for Hyrule as well as you do." He explained. "Link is being possessed by the mask its not his fault." I stated. "What do you mean?" He inquired. "He put on a mask that harbors an evil spirit known as Fierce Deity. In Hyrule's history he had and intense battle with the chosen hero and disappeared forever, or so we thought. But now Link is Fierce Deity." I explained. "What does he want?' Armani asked. "He wasn't to open the Temple of Time to travel back to his own timeline I'm assuming. He most likely wants to change the past. That's why he's been traveling to all those temples to collect the Spiritual Stones." I explained. "The Spiritual Stones open the Temple of Time?" Armani inquired. "Yes." I lied as I hid the Ocarina of Time under my dress as Armani turned away from me. "The Spiritual Stones weren't on him when we searched him." Armani stated. "What?!" I exclaimed. "Then he must have hid them! We must search for them!" I explained. "I've already sent men out to look for them, but there's been no such luck in finding them." He stated. "Do you realize the danger you've put us in by bringing him here, inside the palace walls?" I asked the prince. "He's no less dangerous then you are you're majesty when you're locked up." He laughed. "I escaped remember!" I shouted. "But then you were caught again. Face it Zelda I've beaten you. I win. You lose. Now Link will be executed by dawn and we will be wed." Armani stressed. I groaned at his response. "When will you get over yourself?! We aren't getting married! I refuse you!" I shouted. Armani's brow burrowed in anger. He rose his hand to hit me but Navi quickly intervened. "Not so fast bub!" She exclaimed as she attacked Armani's face. "Zelda run! Go find Link and talk some sense into him!" Navi shouted. I quickly ran past Armani and pushed through the doors. The guards were gone from their post luckily so I was able to make my way towards the dungeons with ease. I traveled down the stairs to the dark, depths of the dungeons to find Link chained up to the wall. "Link!" I called. His body hung from the wall like laundry being hung up to dry on a warm day. He lifted his head to look at me. "Zelda?" He stated. For a moment he seemed his regular self as I inched closer to his cell. "No! Zelda stay away!" He begged. "Link is that really you?" I asked. "Yes its me but I don't know for how much longer. Please get away!" Link cried. I ignored his pleas as I fished the ring of keys from a hook on the wall. I unlocked the cell door and ran straight to Link. "Zelda no...." He trailed as I touched his face with both of my hands. "You have to get away from me." Link stated. "Stop talking. I'm not going anywhere." I snapped. Link closed his mouth defeated. "I have to get you out of here Armani is planning to have you executed." I explained. "Its for the best Zelda." Link whispered. I was utterly shocked to hear this from him. "Excuse me?" I asked. "I can't stop him Zelda. He plans to go back in time and bring his undead army back here. He thinks I can beat the chosen hero of that timeline. And I'm afraid if I do there will be no one else to stop him. You have to let me die." Link explained. "Not in a million years." I stated as I began to unchain him. "Zelda! Stop it!" Link shouted as I finished unchaining him. I hugged him instantly once he could move freely. He hugged me back in response. "We'll get through this." I stated. "Just don't give up fighting Link." I whispered. "I love you." He whispered. "I love you too." I stated. "Do you have the Ocarina of Time?" Link suddenly asked. "Yeah, but I have to destroy it." I stated as I held it in my hands. "Destroy it!" He shouted. Link was acting like a maniac as he held his head in pain. "Zelda run!" He shouted as he reached for the Ocarina. I jumped back as Link ran at me. "Silly little Queen. I knew you'd let down your guard if I let your Link come back for a bit." Fierce Deity laughed. I quickly took off. I ran and ran until I was out of the dungeons. I glanced over my shoulder to see that he was chasing me and not far behind me.
