Link's P.O.V

"Think about all the people you've saved and all the lives to come.....Including....Our...Child's." Zelda choked out as Fierce Deity beat her. "What?" I thought. "Zelda is pregnant....with my child." I stated. Complete elation washed over me. Suddenly I found the urge to fight back. Fierce Deity had managed to shut me out and keep me from getting my body back but now I found my chance to be free. A new found courage filled me as I pushed back against the evil power that the mask had over me. "No!" Fierce Deity cried as I fought against his will. "You're supposed to be dead! Your soul was supposed to be mine!" He cried. "Not today." I smirked as I felt the pure force of the Triforce fight back against the evil that had cursed me. I felt as if I was chained and the Triforce expelled the impurity from me. "Release me Fierce Deity! I will no longer be your slave!" I vowed. "Impossible!" He cried as I pushed at the seal that trapped me within my own mind. The seal broke due to the purity of the Triforce causing the Mask to fall from my face. I was finally free. I felt reunited with my body and soul as I returned to my true form. I felt a stinging pain in my shoulder from the arrow that hit me instantly as I returned to my body. "Ok ow!" I groaned as I held my shoulder. I looked at my feet to see the mask looking up at me. At first I felt a certain attraction to the mask as I gazed upon it but I quickly shook it off and kicked the mask away from me. "Link?" Zelda called. I quickly ran to her side and held her in my arms. "I'm here Zelda." I stated as I brushed her hair out of her face. "Is it really you?" She asked as he gazed at me. "Its me. I promise." I swore as I kissed her forehead. She smiled softly at me and lifted her hand to my cheek. "Took you long enough." Zelda laughed as she sat up. She was banged up pretty badly. Zelda was bruised around her jawline and eye while her lip bled slightly. I gently brushed my fingers across her cheek. She hissed in pain. "I'm so sorry." I cried. Guilt and shame washed over me as I stared at her wounds. "Please forgive me Zelda." I begged as I lowered my head in shame. Zelda then lifted my chin so that I was looking at her. "This wasn't you. I know that. Now kiss me you idiot." She laughed. I smiled softly at her as she embraced me. "I missed you." She giggled as I kissed her gently. "Sorry to break up this little moment, but you're gonna have to come with me Link." A voice interrupted. I turned to see it was Armani and the rest of the army from before. Zelda tried to stand but struggled to so I helped her by offering her my assistance. She grabbed my arm and pulled herself up. "Armani, Link is no longer a threat. He isn't wearing the mask that possessed him." Zelda informed him. "I don't care he still endangered the life of our Queen!" He shouted causing the army behind him to rally. I looked into the crowd to see many of my previous recruits. They had betrayed me. Zelda tried to defend me but she didn't have the strength to. She leaned on me for support and I welcomed the close contact. "Armani I understand your arrogance, but your lack of supremacy disturbs me. You lead these men through fear not trust." I explained. "Ha! Many of these men were once your disciples and look who leads them now; me!" Armani laughed. Suddenly Mido stepped forward. "I swore my allegiance to the Queen of Hyrule not the Prince of Termina." He stated as he walked past Armani and stood beside Zelda and I. Suddenly other voices sounded in agreement as they left Armani's side to join mine. "Fools! What are you doing?! Get back here!" He demanded but none of them listened. Soon all of the Hyrulian Guard was returned to my side while all of Termina's had remain by Armani. "This isn't the end! We had a deal Zelda! You signed a treaty! If you go back on your word then Termina will go to war with Hyrule!" Armani swore. Zelda ignored his threats as she gathered the strength to face him. "Now that the chosen hero has returned to us I do not fear war with Termina. I have the best trained guard on my side and the most knowledgeable army with me. What do you have? A starving country, and a limited group of thugs. You're no threat. I fear that soon Termina will fade out of existence while under your rule. You're weak." She harshly explained. The rest of my men whooped and cheered in response to her bashing while Armani was stunned into silence. Zelda held the Ocarina of Time loosely in her hands while she focused on Armani. "We will see who the weak one is now." He threatened as he quickly dived towards the Fierce Deity Mask I had kicked away moments before. "No!" I shouted as Armani quickly put on the mask. I watched in horror as he his form was quickly consumed by the demon that was Fierce Deity. Zelda shouted at everyone to get back as I quickly unsheathed my sword and prepared to face my greatest enemy yet.
