The Legend: Part II: Chapter 8 - Tension

Zelda's P.O.V

I answered the door to see it was Armani. "Good morning." He greeted as he pushed the door opened and forced himself into the room. "Slept well I presume?" He inquired as he observed the room. Link was well hidden under my bed but I still feared Armani would notice his presence. "Yes." I answered. "We have much to discuss regarding our arranged marriage." Armani stated. Suddenly Link made a movement. "What was that?" Armani asked as he looked around the room for the source. "Nothing! Why don't we discuss this in a more fitting atmosphere, such as the throne room?" I suggested. "You're right. After you Milday." Armani stated as he escorted me out of the room where Link was still hiding. Once we reached the throne room I tried to reason with Armani once more. "Are you certain about this?" I questioned as I faced Armani. "About marrying you?" He inquired. I nodded my head yes in response. "Why or course! I've been looking forward to this since the day it was destined by our fathers." Armani said sweetly. "Nothing is destined. We make our own future." I tired. Suddenly Armani  frowned. He was obviously angry. Armani's body language changed in that split second to one of rage. "I will not be denied." He stated through gritted teeth. "We all can't get what we want." I sighed. "We must do what is right for our people. My kingdom is at the brink of famine and plague. We need your help." Armani pleaded. "Hyrule will be more than happy to help you and your kingdom. We can ship supplies, and send our healers over to you. This can all be done without a wedding." I explained. "That is not what was promised!" Armani exclaimed. "If the treaty is broken then I will have no choice but to declare war on you and your kingdom." Armani sighed. "We have just rebuilt ourselves! Hyrule is in no shape to face another war, even more so Termina! You must think of your people!" I shouted. "The treaty entitled me as King of Hyrule. This can only be done if I am married into the royal line. Termina would become apart of Hyrule. "Armani explained. "Where is this so called treaty? I demand to overlook this." I stated firmly. "The treaty is in Termina." Armani answered. "Then bring it here. But before then we will not discuss this." I practically growled. Armani grabbed my arm and pulled me to him. "I will send for my father and his advisors. A summit will be held and you will be mine." Armani stated. "I belong to no one." I stated firmly as I sharply pulled my arm away from his and left the throne room.
