Zelda's P.O.V

When I awoke in Link's arms I thought it was just a dream at first. But once I felt him stir I realized that this was all too real. "Morning." Link yawned as he stretched out like a cat. "Good morning." I responded. "Can I ask you something?" I inquired. Link nodded his head yes as he pecked my forehead with a gentle kiss. "Why did you stay away for so long?" I asked. "What do you mean?" Link questioned. "After we....Made love.....You wouldn't come see me. You shut me out." I tried. Link squirmed uncomfortably. "You were engaged." He stated simply. "I didn't feel like I had a place in your life anymore." He sighed. "I meant to tell you." I sighed. "When? Before or after your marriage?" Link snapped. "Please stop this." I begged. "Stop what? Being honest?" Link inquired. "Did you honestly think I wouldn't care?! Was I just your play thing? Did you sleep with me just for the hell of it?!" Link exclaimed as he stood up from the bed. "Link please I need you to understand hurting you was not my intention!" I shouted. "What was your intention then?" Link asked seriously. "To be with you." I whispered. Link demeanor suddenly softened. "I don't want to marry Armani." I cried. The stress of the situation suddenly took control. Tears fell from my eyes and I felt as I nothing would stop them. Link was instantly by my side wiping the tears away with his hands. "Please don't cry." Link begged. "I hate it when pretty girls cry." Link chuckled. I laughed at his remark and remembered the first time we had met. "Glad to know I can still make you laugh." Link stated as he kissed my forehead. "I have to marry him Link. I can't let Hyrule be in another war. I refuse to send you off to fight. I can't loose you." I cried. Link sighed and scratched the back of his head. "Zelda you know I love you and I would fight for you no matter the circumstances but is this something you really want to do?" He asked. "It doesn't matter what I want. I have to think of Hyrule." I cried. "Pretend the safety of Hyrule isn't a factor there. Think about you. What do you want Zellie?" Link questioned. I sat back a moment and contemplated his words. "I want you." I simply stated. Link smiled and grabbed my hand. He squeezed it lovingly as he looked at me. "I want you too." He answered.
