Third person POV
"Emi-san! Go get the door" Suzuya groaned. They had just woken up a couple of hours ago and were watching whatever was on the tv.
Well.. Not really. Suzuya had laid his head on Emi's lap and was positioned carelessly on the couch. Emi was under him, running her fingers through his hair.
Neither of them had done this before with anyone. But somehow they knew it was right. It felt somewhat relieving to have this sort of contact.
There's no doubt they both felt uncomfortable at the beginning but after a few minutes it all started to settle.
"I can't. You're on top, go get it" she answered
"But I don't want to walk!" Suzuya whined and Emi sighed
"Alright, fine. Get off me" she said and Suzuya did as told, letting Emi get up and walk towards the door.
She swung the door open revealing a smiling Shinohara. His smile soon dropped when he saw the new stitches all over her arm, followed by the old ones in her leg.
"Hey..." she said putting her hand on the door frame and resting half of her body weight against it.
"He isn't hurting you, is he?" Shinohara asked worriedly
Emi stared confused at him.
"Wh-"
"Ah. Shinohara-san" greeted Suzuya from under the girl's arm.
"Hello Juuzou" he responded putting on a smile
"You shouldn't give me a smile if it's going to be fake" Suzuya said with a raised eyebrow and resting his body against the wall
"Sorry" he chuckled and cleared his throat before continuing.
"Suzuya. How about you invite Emi to dinner with us tonight?" Shinohara asked
"Why?" Suzuya asked
"Well she is your girlfriend. Its the right thing to do"
"She's not my girlfriend" Suzuya grumbled
"Yeah yeah. Well Emi, I will be seeing you tonight. Dress nice" Shinohara said before pivoting and walking down the hallway.
"You don't have to come, you know..." Suzuya said after Emi closed the door
"I can't... Besides I have nothing to wear" Emi sighed. She hated letting people down. Especially people like Shinohara who had been nice to her.
"Maybe there's something in Aya's closet I can use.." Emi said and walked towards the bathroom closet, where all of Aya's clothes were.
Suzuya followed her quietly. He watched as Emi shuffled through the clothing. Finally she pulled out three hangers.
"I need your help" she said pulling him inside his room.
"Ok. You're going to tell me which one is better" she said and Suzuya rolled his eyes.
Emi asked Suzuya to turn around while she changed into her first outfit.
"Alright Suzuya." he heard Emi say.
Emi had a purple dress that ended mid thigh. It was simple but pretty. It was strapless and had a small bow in the middle. Small beads decorated the top part while the bottom part fell at her thighs in waves.
The next dress was red. It was a little see-through in the top part but not too extravagant. It was long sleeved, the sleeves also a bit see-through. It ended at her knees and it complimented her figure.
(A little bit like the picture I added xD)The next one was black and ended at her ankles. It was quite simple and elegant. It had small white decorations on the top part.
"What do you think?" Emi asked
"The black one was disgusting" Suzuya answered
"I think I'm going with the red one" Emi said grabbing the other ones and returning them to the closet.
"Alright. The dinner is not until a few hours" Suzuya said and Emi nodded.
"Then let's figure out what you're wearing!" Emi clapped.
"What's wrong with what I'm wearing now?" Suzuya asked looking at his clothes
"Everything! Shinohara said to dress nice. You look like a homeless child" Emi answered
"Im not the one who's homeless here" Suzuya smirked. Emi ignored how hurtful his comment was and opened his closet.
"Nos let's see what you've got.." Emi whispered as she shuffled through the closet.
"No. No. No. Maybe. No. Ew, never. No" she said as she passed each hanger.
Then she turned around, frustration taking over her features. "You have literally nothing you can use" she sighed
"I can use anything from there. They are clothes, after all" Suzuya shrugged
"No. This won't do. We need to buy you something" Emi said raising her hands
"No way. Look, these are dress pants..." Suzuya pointed towards one of the hangers. "And that's a white shirt." Suzuya said
"You'll look too plain. This just won't do.." Emi rested her head against the wall.
"I don't even want to go in the first place. It's either this or we stay here" Suzuya said knowing he had won this argument
"Alright. But let me go buy you a tux jacket. At least then you'll look formal" Emi said with pleading eyes
Suzuya glared but nodded his head afterwards. Emi smiled happily and ran out the door screaming she'll be back in no time.
Suzuya sighed walking towards the couch.
Geez. Emi-san is getting way too annoying.
The boy then reached inside his shirt and pulled out a knife. He inspected it, turning it around and watching how the light reflected on the sides.
His mind drifted off to Emi, something he found himself doing often,as strange as that sounded. He didn't know why, though. There was just something about her...
He began to feel strange things when being around her. And something he did not understand was, in the day he found out Emi was a ghoul, why didn't he kill her?
Not once has Suzuya hesitated in taking the lives of ghouls. Hell, he didn't even have a problem with killing humans. The thought itself sent joy buzzing through him. Just taking someone and having their life in his hands. Trying each and every method of killing. Watching how long they could hang in there. Then finally staring at their motionless bodies.
He found himself smiling at the very thought of that. He craved violence. He oozed violence from each and every pore in his body. It was like a drug to him.
He pictured Emi's lifeless body laying on the floor, with his Jason stuck right in the middle. Her eyes blank and her face void of expression.
Suzuya liked his lips, gripping the knife in his hand tighter and tighter with every incoming thought. He let out a laugh, a bit too evil to a normal person's eyes. Insanity was pouring from his features. His joyful face and his crimson red eyes. He didn't know what Emi was doing to him, but he did know one thing...
"Emi-san. I swear someday you will be mine" and with that, Suzuya flung the knife, sticking it into the wall behind him.
