"Hey Suzuya?" I woke up to someone speaking. I opened my eyes and Aya-san was staring at me.
"What?" I asked rubbing my eyes.
"Someone called. Said something about a meeting?" she said.
"Oh right! The meeting at the CCG!" I sat up wide eyed.
"Better get dressed," she smirked and turned to leave.
"Stupid Aya-san. Didn't wake me up earlier," I grumbled as I got out of bed.
"I heard that! And you wouldn't have woken up if I called you earlier!" She yelled from outside.
I ignored the fact that she was right and got dressed. I walked to the kitchen and sat on the table.
"Ah... What will we have today, Aya-san?" I sang.
"Sandwich," she said throwing a sandwich in my direction. I caught it and took out the lettuce and tomato.
"What? You don't like it?" she asked wit her mouth full.
"Ew. Of course not. I like sweet stuff better," I said and started eating what was left of the sandwich.
"Hey Aya-san?" I asked as I got up.
"Yeah?" she looked at me.
"How about you head over to the CCG later and we can go have dinner?" I asked and she looked dumbfounded.
"You mean together?" she asked.
"No Aya-san. You'll go buy it and I will eat it," I rolled my eyes.
"Sorry. It's just not like you to do this," she glared at my sarcasm and I shrugged.
"I just want to eat out and since you're in charge of the food I guess I could give you a break," I said and turned around.
"Wait!" I heard her say.
"What?" I asked without turning around.
"At what time?" she asked.
"About five thirty" I said exiting the apartment.
***
"Suzuya. You're late," Shinohara said as I entered the building.
"I said I'd show up. I didn't say at what time" I smirked with a finger pointed at him and then laughed.
Shinohara rolled his eyes and I followed him inside the conference room.
They just talked about things I wasn't really interested on. Something about a ghoul named 'Eyepatch' or something like that. I didn't really pay much attention to that.
Something caught my attention though. They started talking about the two ghouls I had brought yesterday.
"So apparently there's this gang named 'Hadani' or 'Red Spider'. Both of the girls were part of it. The spider tattoos held some kind of code witch is yet to be unlocked and the bigger ones are probably maps. We haven't discovered anything yet but as soon as we do we'll send a special squad to investigate," I heard.
"Did they say anything during the fight that might put some sense into all this?" all eyes turned towards me.
"I don't think so," I shrugged and they all sighed.
"Well then. If there is nothing more to say, you are all dismissed."
***
"Well Suzuya. I've got to hand it to you, you managed to stay awake through the whole meeting," Shinohara patted my shoulder.
"Yeah yeah," I waved him off.
"Do you have it ready?" I asked excitedly.
"Amon is bringing it over," Shinohara said and I saw Amon at the distance carrying a gray suitcase.
"Suzuya's Jason," he sighed handing it over to me and I hugged the suitcase.
"It was about time!" I smiled as I snuggled the suitcase.
"Sorry. It took quite a beating last time" Amon explained.
I was having it checked because I ran into a ghoul and it got in pretty bad shape.
"That ghoul was really strong," I pouted.
"Excuse me, Mr. Suzuya?"
"Yes, lady?" I turned to the woman in front of me.
"We have someone here to see you. A girl named Aya," she said and I looked behind her.
Aya-san was shoving every investigator who got in her way trying to stop her.
"Oh fuck you! I'm here for Suzuya!" she screamed at almost everyone and I chuckled.
"Aya-san! Over here!" I waved and she walked towards me.
"Are you ready?" she asked.
"Yeah. See you later Shinohara-san, Amon-kun!" I waved at their confused faces and turned around. I walked at Aya-san's side.
"Suzuya has a... girlfriend?" I heard the voice of Shinohara say in a low tone.
"Stupid Shinohara-san," I chuckled to myself as I shook my head.
**
"Finally! We're out of that place! The people were really irritating me, you know," Aya grumbled
"I can tell," I said while skipping down the sidewalk.
"You're awfully happy," she gave me a questioning look.
"I've got this!" I said and the suitcase opened revealing my Jason.
I ran towards the nearest trash can and cut it in half, flashing a grin at Aya-san.
"Wow. Not bad," she smirked.
**
"You're paying, Aya-san" I said with my mouth full.
She glared and took her wallet out.
"You know, if I keep paying I'm never gonna be able to go back to my apartment," she grumbled and I shrugged.
"Not my problem," I said and she glared, leaving the money on the table.
"Lets go. It's already dark outside" she stood up and I followed.
We walked quietly side by side until we reached the apartment.
We watched TV for a while until I could barely keep my eyes open. I looked at Aya she was already asleep.
"Gotta... get... to... bed" I grumbled closing my eyes. I guess I forgot I was supposed to open them again..
