After their most awaited moment and spending an unforgettable evening together with each other, Swara was all set to call it a day. Wishing her mom and grandmother a good night, she came to her bedroom and slipped into the comforters on her bed, hoping to sleep soon but she knew the memories of today's evening would not let her fall asleep anytime soon. Swara still could not help that grin across her face when her mind went back to those lovely moments... how everything happened just the way she wanted. That surprise on Sanskar's face on her arrival, his happiness, their romantic dance together, their romantic candle light dinner followed by him singing that melodious song for her... All in all, it had been a wonderful day.
Knowing she would not be sleeping anytime soon, she decided to go through the photographs which were clicked today. She smiled as she went through every photograph one by one, not only because Sanskar was present besides her all the time, but also loving how their families and friends were also a part of their happiness. The excitement on their faces when they danced together showed how genuinely happy they were for them, making those memories even more precious.
She smiled to herself and could not help the blood rushing through her cheeks. As she scrolled through the photos, her phone beeped and a message flashed at the top of her screen. When Swara saw who was it messaging her at this hour, her face lit up as it was Sanskar's message.
'I want you to be ready tomorrow in the morning sharp at 10 am. I will be coming to your house to pick you up. Don't worry, I have already taken aunty's permission to take her daughter away from her for some hours.'
A little confused at the sudden plan, she decided to call him up. When she called him, he answered right after the first ring.
"Good evening, love," Sanskar wished nonchalantly from the other side, sprawled on his bed in a half-lying position.
"Where are you taking me tomorrow?"
"You are questioning me as if I am going to take you to a wild forest or something," he chuckled and Swara could not help but chuckle, too. She saw the time and her eyebrows furrowed.
"By the way, shouldn't you be sleeping by now? It's 12 am."
"What can I say?" Sanskar folded his legs across and leaned on the pillow on his lap, "Do you think I would be in the right state of my mind right now after you decided to surprise me like that by showing yourself up like that? To be honest, I'm still not over it."
Swara chuckled and closed her eyes while holding her phone closer to herself.
"That was my way of surprising. All because I wanted to see that smile and happiness on your face. We had been apart for two years, Sanskar. I had to compensate for it somehow."
"That you really did," he smiled nodding his head to himself, "and now it is my turn." He stated and Swara remembered what he had texted.
"Oh, yes! About that-"
"Aah... Nothing about that!" he said almost like a warning but still redeemed his playful behaviour, "Just be ready tomorrow at 10. That's all I want to say to you for the day."
"Ugh!" she groaned before giving in, "Okay, fine. I will."
"Great! See you tomorrow, then. Looking forward to a great time," he smiled knowingly to himself and Swara rolled her eyes.
"Yeah, right. When I don't even know where we are going to have our great time," she said sarcastically making him chuckle. After saying their 'byes' to each other, Swara chuckled to herself as she enjoyed these little moments with him.
"This boy... sometimes he is too resolute for his own good."
