The most awaited moment for both, Swara and Sanskar, was right here... After two years! Swara still could not believe that the surprise she had been planning since so many days was finally taking shape and becoming a reality. Having him in front of her right now amidst the darkness in the room with nothing but a candle light being the only source of seeing him, it was unbearably overwhelming for her and whatever she had stored inside of her for two years was all set to be vented out. Yet, she got a grip of herself in front of the whirlwind of her strong emotions as she wanted to surprise her love in the best way she could. It was all she knew he deserved.

"S... Swara?" Sanskar still failed to believe that it was really his Swara's voice that he heard right now.

"No. No. It can't be Swara. She has her exam tomorrow, afterall. There is no way she can be here. I think I'm just missing her too much, that's why I'm hallucinating now," all he could think. But once again, his thoughts were challenged when he heard her voice again.

"Sanskar!"

And before he could comprehend whether the voice was real or not, the light of the candle -- that Swara was holding in her hands -- got even closer to him as Swara took a step towards him. When she got close enough, it was now that Sanskar could actually see who was behind the candle light.

What the... now he was hallucinating not just her voice but also her face!

"Swara?!" the astonishment was so clear in his voice and Swara knew she had done her job. Her smile widened as the moment she dreamt of was turning to real.

"Is this..." Sanskar shook his head just to be sure he was in the right state of his mind and that he was not hallucinating any of this, "is this really you?!"

"Apne dil se puchho, Sanskar. What does it feel?" she could not help but ask, her tone as soft as a whisper, her eyes shining brightly amidst the dark.

"Are you really here, Swara?" he asked with a smile forming on his face just at the thought of having his Swara here on his special day, and that too unexpectedly. His question was followed by her carefree laughter and it made him suck in a breath. There was no other proof needed!

Sanskar, still in a daze, wrapped his hands around Swara's little hands on the candle. With every moment passing by, the feeling of her really being here got stronger and stronger and his smile broadened more and more.

"Swara?"

"Wish you many many happy returns of the day, my love!" she wished, her eyes shining brightly, "I love you more than anything else in this world!SURPRISE!"

She exclaimed and next moment, all the lights turned on wiping out every darkness and Sanskar was visibly startled. The moment light came Sanskar's eyes landed on the large banner in the centre that read...

'HAPPY BIRTHDAY SANSKAR'

Extremely bewildered, his eyes involuntarily wandered everywhere where he could see every effort reflecting in every decoration put up just to see his happiness... to celebrate his special day. He saw how beautifully the whole basement was lit up and decorated... balloons and other decors were put up gracefully everywhere.

But more than any of this, what mattered most to him right now was the person standing here in front of him... who he had guessed by now was behind all of it.

Swara giggled looking at his utterly surprised demeanor and her voice made Sanskar's eyes land on her.

"Swara! You... You are real?" he could not help but ask, "It's not an imagination. But... how come? You were going to come next week... And wait! What about your exam?!" He asked everything that came in his mind but Swara silenced him.
