I flipped through every channel, hoping to find a good movie. I pick up a spoonful of chocolate ice cream, placing it in my mouth. Finally, I stopped when I saw Titanic on.

"I don't even get this movie." I groaned. I sat there for the past ten minutes complaining about the whole entire movie until I heard a knock on my door. I turned off my TV, set aside my ice cream and walked towards the door looking like a mess. I opened the door to find the last person I wanted to see.

"Hey..." His words faded once he was what a disaster I looked like. "You look like a mess."

"Oh, how sweet." I replied with a sarcastic smile turning back around and walking to my little area.
"I heard what happened with Joshua, he texted me about it. I just wanted to see how you were." He said sincerely.
"I'm great. But i'm pretty sure that's not all you wanted to hear about." I sat down on my couch and ate two more spoons of ice cream.

"I guess i'm just wondering why you did it. I mean, you seemed to have really liked him and maybe it's just..."

"Don't finish that sentence, please. I just needed some time to myself and my thoughts." I said quietly. He gave me a genuine smile and sat down next to me.
"Then can we at least hang out, before we started drifting." I smiled at him and nodded.

"Let me get ready and i'll be right there." I hugged him quickly and ran upstairs to get changed. I searched all around my closet until I found the perfect outfit. I walked back downstairs smiling and saw Dylan waiting for me at the door. His eyes widened as he bit his lip.

"You look really different from earlier...I mean not like really different, just like, you know what? I'm just going to shut up." He rubbed the back of his neck as he opened the door and allowed me to go out first. I giggled at his adorableness and turned around to see him closing the door.

"So we are we going?" I asked. He walked towards me and took my hand.
"We are going to the park and we will stay there till it's night." He wiggled his eyebrows walking me to the park.

The moon shined brighter than the sun today and I was already falling in love. The stars detailed the sky and made the entire night beautiful.
"I'm glad we did this." I said to Dylan as he swung himself on the swing.
"My pleasure, plus we still have to be best friends." He looked back up at the stars and smiled.
Best friends. For some reason those words hit me, hard. It was like he implied that's all we we're and that it's all we're ever going to be.

"Yeah, best friends..." I quietly responded. I brought my legs closer to my chest wrapping my arms around them, holding on tight. Dylan got off the swing and came over and sat down next to me.

"Hey, you cold?" He asked taking off his sweater. I shook my head 'no', but he insisted and placed the giant yet comfy sweater over me.

"Thanks, loser." I smiled at him and he looked down at me. This could be the moment, I thought to myself. But I spoke to soon.

"Mia! Dylan!" Shouted a girl. I looked up to see Natalie running towards us. I mentally cursed at her and faked a smile.

"Hey Natalie" I said nicely. Dylan got up and walked over, giving her a hug. A pinch of jealousy ran through my body and I couldn't ignore it this time.

"So, do you mind if I join you two?" She asked sweetly.
"No, of course not. We were just talking." Dylan stated ignoring my existence. I scoffed and nodded.
"Yeah, we just finished. I'm going to go visit others, so i'll just text you guys." I began to walk away until Nat stopped me.

"Before you go, this Friday, i'm going to throw a party. You should come and bring whoever you want." I nodded smiling. I then walked away from the scene to camera's flashing in front of my face and reporters coming up to me.

"We heard about your break up! Can you explain it to us?" "Mia! Mia! Answer a few questions!"

Instead of actually ignoring what was going on, I decided to speak up.

"That's my privacy. If I want it to be known, I would've told you all." I walked through the crowd and dialed a number on my phone. What started as a great day, ended up being a horrible day.

"I'm coming over, make sure to have pizza." I hung up and headed to where I wanted to go.

I sat down putting a handful of popcorn in my mouth.

"You know, I may be older, but it doesn't mean i'm wiser." Holland stated.
"Well, I just needed to hang out with you and the others."
"Makes sense. Shelley, Arden, Dyl and Tyler should be here soon. Just wait it out. The guitar is in the back." I went over to get the guitar and once I came back they were all here.

"Well, what'd you call us for, and don't say it's about Josh or I will cut your hair off." Dyl joked. Everyone in the room laughed and all began to find things to do.

"I just wanted to jam out with you guys. We haven't done it in a while and I need a break." I shrugged. The others nodded, smiling. Arden got her phone out and looked through her playlist.

"We can play these songs, I got it all set up." She smiled proudly. Shelley came over to me and patted my shoulder.

"Get your mind off of Dylan and it'll be alright." She whispered. I smiled looking back down at the playlist Arden created and looked up at everyone who were waiting for me. Tyler with the guitar, Dylan with sticks and pots piled on top, Shelley and Holland ready to just sing along and Arden sitting next to me, ready to sing with me. Just for a moment I missed moments like these, especially with the old cast. But the change has been good, it's helped me meet new people and experience new things with new people.

"Let's start, you lovely people." I winked and then our moment began.
