Natsu's POV:

"Is there a specific place you should be?"

The little boy shook his head, a small frown taking over his bright smile.

"A name?" I asked.

"Happy." He murmured.

"Your happy?" This kid confuses me..

"My name is Happy!"

"Your name.. Wait. So your actual name is Happy?" I asked confusedly and he nodded, "My mother and father didn't have a chance to name me when I was younger.. I was taken..? I don't remember..." He struggled to think.

The little boy sure knew some mature stuff.. "Well Happy, how old are you?"

"Nine."

"Are you supposed to be somewhere? Your in a very dangerous place you know?" I said with a more stern voice.

He nodded with a frown, "..I don't know.. I was being chased? Errrmm, woman.. Gray hair? Pointy hat and old woman cape..?"

"Pointy hat? Gray hair? Old woman cape? Jeez, Happy what have you been dreaming about..?" I asked utterly confused by his choice of words.

"Not a dream. Real life.. Those woman were.. Odd? They kept chasing me," he sniffled a bit with small tears forming around his eyes, "I was scared.."

He was being chased? "Are you injured." I asked him softly.

He turned slightly just enough for me to see the opened, bleeding cut that formed from the side of his calf to his ankle. He winced slightly turning back, "A branch scratched me.. I think I tripped in the woods.."

"That's a deep cut!" I exclaimed approaching him although, he didn't seem to pay any mind to it, "Happy how long have you been running?"

"I don't know.. What's your name..."

I stared up at the boy with a severe cut, currently losing blood and his one question is my name?

"Natsu.. Happy, are you feeling tir-" before I can finish my sentence he tumbled to the ground.

I rushed towards him, thankfully he wasn't dead but that was a deep cut.. If he was running that must've made it worse.

'He obviously needs medical attention..'

I cradled him like a baby in my arms and started walking inside, nobody noticed as I brought the unconscious child into the infirmary.

"So many people have ended up here in the past few hours.." I muttered, mostly to myself.

I laid Happy down on the fresh white sheets, the blood from his leg slowly staining it the iconic deep red. He winced slightly in his almost peaceful sleep as I laid him down, careful with his wound.

"I'd have to agree with that one." Gajeel's voice popped out of nowhere.

Instantly, I turned around and saw him leaning against another hospital bed.

"Gajeel, your up. How's your injuries?" I asked and he scoffed, "Better then before."

I let out a light chuckle, "Yeah well, you were beat up pretty badly. Speaking of which, do you know who did it?" I asked and he gave me an Are-You-Kidding-Look.

"So your saying you didn't see the crazy witch with possessed looking eyes?!"

"Was just testing your memory Gajeel."

He breathed out in relief, "Yeah well, thanks anyways."

I nodded, "What about Levy? Is she awake?"

"I don't recall her being up. She was sound asleep."

"Watching your little girlfriend sleep? Come on Gajeel you know better then that." I laughed and he blushed with an angry face.

"Yeah, yeah shut it Salamander." He grumbled walking away, "Who's the kid?" He asked stopping near the door.

I placed the stitching needle and alcohol to the side on a surgical pan, "His name is Happy.. I believe he told me something about being chased, I couldn't leave the kid out there for dead; sanity knows what would happen." I replied whilst pulling on plastic gloves.

"Salamander has a soft spot for kids? Well ain't that somethin'." He muttered, then left.

I sighed before dumping an average amount of alcohol onto a wash cloth and gently pressing it up against Happy's wound. Thankfully he was asleep or this would've been tough.

~15 Minutes Later~

Finally I finished the last stitch and tightened it slightly, making sure I didn't wake him up.

After stitching him up I put a wet wash cloth against his wound, cleaning the remaining blood from earlier. At least I knew how to do that, guess those medical classes weren't all that useless...

His snores passed softly in his peaceful slumber, he didn't seem to have a care in the world - which is something he shouldn't really have at this age.

Teenage years really are gonna be troublesome.. poor kid.

"Prince Natsu." A female voice called from the door.

My eyes were met with a pair of amber eyes, "Forgive me for interrupting your time, my name is Nurse Amber." well isn't that ironic, "I've been informed that you wanted to know when Princess Lucy was awake."

My eyes shot down to the resting form of Happy. I'll check up on him later.. maybe after Lucy.

"Is she awake?" I asked still staring down at Happy.

"Yes, she's fine. We gave her painkillers for the remaining pain from any headaches that she's been experiencing."

I smiled before nodding, "Thank you and please keep an eye on him" I motioned to Happy, "He's been out cold for a half hour I believe, if he wakes up tell me and nobody else. Got that?" I commanded and she simply nodded.

With one last nod, I exit the infirmary room with Lucy's room as my next destination.
