{Echoble} Sweet Insanity

"Kim we need to follow him!" I looked back at our ruined base, there was still fire everywhere. "No Duncan, if we do he'll just kill Tiddles." I said dejectedly. "Can we at least follow him and see what he's up to? We don't have to interfere!" "Fine. But we have to come back, no aggravations." We leapt into the air, quickly equipping our gliders. I followed Duncan as he watched Hector continue to fly forwards. After about 10 minutes he dropped into what looked like an abandoned tower of Sjin's. Sjin wont be too happy about that... We stealthily hid in the trees by the tower and took out our binoculars. Duncan gave me a hearing device which we both equipped. Settling in, we watched.

Lalnable placed the portal down and Specimen 5 quickly appeared. 

"Oh Hector thank you thank you thank you!" 5 threw herself at Lalnable pulling him into an awkward hug. Wait is he- blushing? "They didn't do anything to you did they?" His voice was no longer deep, he sounded like Duncan! "No, no, I'm fine, just bored. How long was I in there exactly?" "About 2 weeks." "Awww did big tough Lalnable Hector miss his little clone?" She said in a sing-song taunting voice. Lalnable blushed even more. He mumbled something. "Was the big bad cannibal loooonely?" She continued to talk in the sing-song voice. "Shut up Echo, I got you something." He said rummaging through his bag. Echo, is that her name? "Ooooh what did you get me this time? Is it more hair clips?!" She said excitedly bouncing up and down. Is that where my hair clips went!? He smiled and pulled out the golden lasso. Placing it on the floor, Tiddles appeared in the circle it made. She squealed and quickly picked our cat up, scratching behind her ears. "You got me Tiddles! Awww your so sweet Hector." He blushed again and looked down shuffling his feet. Very quickly she jumped up and gave him a peck on the cheek. He immediately turned bright red and started spluttered.

I looked over at Duncan, eyes wide. He was still enraptured in the scene before us. I looked back toward the tower, focusing my binoculars. 

"Come on Echo, we need to get your notes sorted for Master." She pouted. "It's always 'Master this- and Master that-' Why can't we ever just have some time for us? And why can't we just call him Israphel?" Lalnable visibly tensed. "Don't.. say his name." "Why not? Fear of the name only increases fear of the thing itself, read that in your library. I'm gunna call him by his name, Israphel." Lalnable winced as she said it but Echo didn't seem to notice. "Echo please... Let's just get these filed and then we can spend some time together okay?" "Ugh fine." She gently put down Tiddles and stomped down a set of stairs. Lalnable looked after, her picking up his bag.

"Please don't let anything hurt her." He said so faintly we could barely hear. Then he followed her down the stairs. Me and Duncan looked at each other. Well that was unexpected.. He motioned in the direction we came from, I nodded. We got back to the base after a few minutes. Most of the fire had already gone out so we sat on the part of the lawn that wasn't burned. 

"Well then." He said awkwardly. "That ended different than expected." we sat in awkward silence for a few minutes before I decided to break it "What do we do?" "I don't know." "I guess we can continue? I mean he is still a cannibal just, with a companion." "I guess" Silently we got to repairing our destroyed base. Weird... Maybe he's not as bad as we thought.

Author's Note: Ok so I saw a Tumblr thing surrounding headcannons and I decided to act upon them. I really like Echoble to be honest and I hope they do something with it in the Flux Buddies 2.0 series. It would add a cool depth to the character. Agree or disagree?
