He was doing it. He was gunna do it and everything would be okay.

"M-Marcie? C-Can I talk to you for a seconds, it's kind of important..."

"Sure Will, what is it?" The blonde teen turned to smile at her brother. He swallowed nervously as she put down her flute she had previously been practicing.

"W-Well I um, I need to tell someone and I-I...."

"Just tell me Will."

"I-I'm gay...." She stared wide eyed at her brother, mouth hanging open in shock.

"Your what?!" The teens turned to find their parents standing in the doorway. Strife gulped.

"I-I um..." "William I forbid it. There is no way I am tolerating that in this household." His eyes widened.

"B-But dad-" "No buts, your going to have to get over this. There's no way your going to be.. gay." Strife pushed his way past them, tears brimming in his eyes as he locked the door of his room. He could hear their shouts but he didn't listen. He sunk into his bed and curled up, sobbing. It wasn't okay.

~~~~~~~
"Hey look it's the faggot!" "Hey freak, off to cry in a bathroom stall?!" "Ugh your disgusting" "Gross!"
Strife tried to keep his eyes from tearing up as he stared at the ground. You really are disgusting. Maybe it was true...
He ate his lunch in the bathroom that day. He couldn't face the taunts from his bullies, he preferred silence. Who would have thought it would turn out like this?
~~~~~~~

Oh gosh he's pretty. Strife stared at the new kid. Tall, black hair, black eyes, cool band T-Shirt, scuffed jeans, he was the definition of 'cool'. And apparently everyone else agreed. He had been mobbed by admirers the moment he stepped into the middle school and seemed to have been immediately elected 'Top boss' of the school ranking system. That'll sting when he starts bullying me... Strife sighed and retreated farther into his usual hiding spot. A bush. No point crushing on him, he'll never like me back.

~~~~~~~
"Hey faggot, nice tie." "Ya, trying out for the school nerd squad? Or do they not accept freaks bellow their level?" "Oh do you need these glasses? Thats a shame, I quite like them." He tried to snatch the accessory out of the boy's hand desperately before he was pushed to the floor yet again. "Freak" "Loser" "Fag"
"What the hell is going on here?" The bullies turned to reveal the new kid looking absolutely furious. "Hey Parv, wanna join in?" One of the bullies grinned. His facial expression got even angrier "Like hell I do! What the fuck do you think your doing?!" The bullies took a step back, surprised. "He's just a fag. What's the big deal?" One of them challenged though Parv was towering over him.
"The big deal!? The big deal??!! I'm gay as hell that's the big deal! Don't you dare touch him you homophobes!" The bullies and Strife stared eyes wide.
"S-sorry..." They muttered and slinked off to wherever slime like that lurked. Parv turned the the blonde, still sitting stunned on the sidewalk.
"Are you alright?" He said, going to pick up the glasses that had been dropped in the scuffle.
"Y-Ya, I'm fine..." Strife murmured as Parv handed him his glasses "Thank you"
"Um I didn't catch your name, I'm Parvis." Strife blinked before replying "W-Will Strife. Thanks for um, ya.."
"No problem mate, those guys were idiots." Extending a hand, the dark teen helped the blonde up.
"Um would you like to, um- maybe get coffee or something?" "What?" The blonde stared at the taller boy, confused. He fidgeted nervously "W-Well it's the least I can do to try to uh- Look, I've never asked someone out before and um y-your really cute so uh..." Parv trailed off as he looked at his sneakers. Strife stared at him in shock. "I-I'm sorry you don't have to um- I'll j-just go..." He stared at the floor sadly, taking a couple steps away before Strife could react "No Parv wait!" The teen turned to look at the blonde again.
"I um I would quite like that actually- oh god this is awkward." Parv grinned while Will ran his fingers nervously through his hair.
"Really?" "Yes really." "Well, what are we waiting for silly?" Parv smiled as they began to walk toward the shops. Their hands met along the way as the boys laughed and talked. And Will was smiling for the first time in months, he was genuinely smiling. And it felt wonderful.
"P-Parvis?" It was the end of spring break and the two were standing a short distance from the school yard as they stared out at the kids from behind a tree. They had been together 2 weeks now but it felt like a lifetime.
"Yes Strifeykins?" The taller boy smiled down at the boy, his arms wrapped lazily around the blonde's waist.
"I-I'm scared.." "Don't be, it'll all turn out fine I promise. No one will hurt you when I'm around." Placing a gently kiss on the blonde's nose he gave a reassuring smile.
"Th-Thanks Parvis.." "No problem Strifey. Now let's go show em' who's boss." Strife gave a small smile as Parv took his hand, leading them toward the school courtyard hands intertwined.
His life may be shattered but Parv was certainly helping to pick up the pieces.
