{Parvill} Restless Nights

Parvis sighed and stared at the ceiling.

I can't believe this is happening.

He glanced over at Will curled up next to him. He still couldn't believe the hotel didn't have 2 beds. And to make it worse the one they had wasn't even that big.

Stupid cheapskate hotels...

Parvis tried to relax but just the fact that his crush was in the bed next to him made his back go all rigid. There would be no sleep tonight.

A few minutes later he heard a small movement in the bed next to him. And then another. And then another, followed by a whimper. He glanced over at Strife slightly concerned. The man had gone rigid, his eyes screwed shut as he twitched violently. He whimpered again and flinched at something in his sleep.

Must be having a nightmare. Parvis hopped that it would pass, he really didn't want to wake Strife up.

But it didn't pass.

Strife's whimpered grew louder and louder until they became all out whines. He curled in on himself, shaking violently and flinching every once in a while.

Parvis made his choice. Fuck it.

Putting his arms around the smaller man, he whispered softly to him. Will relaxed after a bit and to Parv's surprise, curled into his touch. Not sure what to do, Parv withdrew his arms only for Strife to whimper again as he snuggled deeper into Parv's side. Slowly, carefully, the guitarist put his arms back around the blonde. He let out a sigh and smiled softly in his sleep.

Relaxing, Parvis began to drift into a blissful slumber lulled by the soft breaths and warmth against his side.

They didn't discuss it in the morning. Strife woke up before him and Parvis was wrenched from his slumber by a gentle tapping on his shoulder. Opening his eyes, he found Strife holding a cup of coffee.

"Morning" He mumbled sleepily and took the mug. Wordlessly, Strife walked back over to the hotel room's kitchenette and continued with whatever he was doing.

It took a couple minutes to even remember the events of the night before.

"Hey Strife, do you get nightmares often?" The blonde stiffened and stopped typing on his laptop. Parv put his guitar back in it's case.

"W-Why do you ask?" Was the nervous reply.

"You um, you were moving around in your sleep last night and whimpering."  Parvis decided on the truth.

"Oh god did I wake you up?! I'm sorry-" Parv interrupted him.

"No I was fine Will, I was up anyway." The man relaxed a bit but still seemed a bit nervous.

"Could you- could you do it again?" Parv gave him a confused look and Will swallowed nervously.

"What- Whatever you did last night. Could- Could you do it again, it um- It help me sleep."

"Uh-" "Of course you don't have to, that's asking a lot-" "Strife it's fine. I don't mind." And the conversation ended there, as if it had never happened.

Yawning, both men slipped into bed. They lay in silence for a few moments before Strife began to shift closer to Parv. Parv noticed the other man holding his breath and wordlessly accepted his movements as he put his arms around him again. Glancing up nervously, green eyes met the brown's gaze before both closed as they decided to accept the moment. And what a wonderful moment it was.
