Let me tell you a story. A story of a man from another world.
Is this really the type of thing for a bedtime story Parvis?
Oh shush Strifey, he's 16 he can deal with it. As I was saying, our story starts out with a man. He was a Lumian, and alien from another world. Cast out by his peers he came to earth to start his company. He was content with his little world until another Lumian discovered him. This Lumian was blue while our hero was green. Blue was gone a teensy bit insane from exclusion to the world, locked away in a facility he built himself.
A teensy bit? I think it was a bit more than that Parvis.
Alright, alright, a lot insane. When he found green he hatched a plan. An evil plan involving dissections and drugs. They hauled away green, kicking and screaming I might add, to the facility. In there they drugged him and cut him open to see what was inside and did all matter of nasty things to his-
Alright, that's enough Parvis.
Oh uh right, sorry. Anyway, green was broken. He lived, curled up in a cell with scars all over his body, muttering indistinguishable things as he twitched. His cell was next to another set of cells. The cell to his right was occupied by a hybrid. Lets call him ender. Ender stuck his scarred hands through the bars to comfort green. That was the only contact the 2 had but it was enough. It kept them from going absolutely insane. And one day, when an experiment went wrong and nobody was looking, they fled. Fled to a mansion atop a hill were they were found by a god with golden eyes. This god took in the broken men and helped them regain some of their sanity. Green still twitched and his glow wasn't bright but he could take care of himself now. The god was furious, blue was supposed to be his friend. So he showed him. He showed him the horrible effects of what he had done to green and ender. And blue cracked. Bursting into tears, he said he was sorry, pleaded them for forgiveness. He didn't know what had come over him back in the lab but he regretted it. He destroyed the facility. Now, green and ender could both hold their own at this point so they set off. Ender found an apprentice and a scientist in a castle and went off on his adventures but that's another story.
Maybe some other day Parvis, focus on the plot.
Ya, ya, I'm getting to it. Anyway, green went off to start his company again. Starting off he didn't have much but he was fine, he was improving. Blue still felt guilty however so he sent green a gift. He sent him an apprentice, the most awesome, funny, smart, handsome-
We get it Parvis, stop tooting your own horn.
That's a strange saying but okay, fine. He sent him an apprentice to teach and take care of. Green wasn't happy at first but gradually the apprentice won him over. He taught him everything he knew and more and gradually they developed feelings for one another. Soon these feelings turned into a relationship and the apprentice turned into the teacher. He taught green how to be happy and how to love another person. He also taught him some naughty things in-
AHEM.
Oh right, uh sorry. Anyway these 2 went on to explore the world, green's company turned into a billion dollar corporation and the apprentice turned into one of the best blood mages in the land. And they were happy, because they had each other. Then one day, the not-so-apprentice came home with a baby he had found. He convinced green to keep it and as the years passed he turned into a sulky teenager who the apprentice could play guitar with and never did any of the school work green assigned him-
And still needs to do it as a matter'o'fact
Ya well thats were our story about the Lumian ends. Good night Stephen.
Yes, goodnight.
