{Parvill} It's for the Better

Parv's POV

I heard a muffled sound from across the room and turned over in my bed.
"Strife?" I whispered and propped myself up to look at my roommate in the bed across the dorm. His face was pressed into the pillow, and the noise continued.
"Strife are you alright?" I asked quietly. He curled even more into the pillow. I gently got out of bed in the dark and padded over to his side.
"Hey buddy you ok?" I said sitting on the edge of the bed and putting a hand on his shoulder. He pressed his face into the pillow and I could hear the muffled sobbing. "Strifey what's wrong?" He gently took his face out of the pillow and turned to face me, tears staining his cheeks in the dusk.
"She cheated on me Parvis." He sobbed. "Oh Strifey..." Parvis hugged him as his friend sobbed into his shoulder. Parvis' heart broke hearing those words. How could someone do this to his Strife? He whispered kind words as Strife curled up in his lap sobbing about how he thought she was the one.
"It's for the better Strife, you deserve someone better than some cheating buffoon." He whispered. "I know but..." Strife sniffed "I loved her Parvis."
Parvis shattered.
Tears leaked down his cheeks but he brushed them away in the dark. He had to take care of Strife before he could be heartbroken.
"Shh it's alright, it's alright. Your going to be okay, we'll get through this okay? I love you Strifey..." He whispered the last part almost inaudibly. Strife sniffed and cuddled into his friend's chest. They sat like that for while.

"Parvis?"
"Yea?"
"I love you too"
