Parvis always loved this coffee shop.

Maybe it was the quite atmosphere, maybe it was the friendly employees, maybe it was the fact that they actually served good coffee, or maybe it was the free wifi. Parvis wasn't sure, but he definitely liked it.

Everyday Parvis walked down to his favorite spot by the counter to chat with Kim and Zoey while they served the usual early morning stragglers. Parvis spent most his time there reading and scrolling through Tumblr on his phone. His gigs were always in the evening anyway. The girls were always cheerful, even with all the idiots who came in just to flirt and try to get a person to share their bed for the night. But that was only a couple occasions and those morons weren't coming back any time soon (Parvis made sure of that, no disturbs his coffee shop) Parvis knew everyone who came into his little corner of the world.

So he was the first one to notice the new girl in the corner.

She was always very quiet, spending hours in the booth, tapping on a laptop that was always in front of her. Parvis started noticing the little nervous habits she had, the way she would try to brush her blonde hair from her beautiful green eyes and how she would look at it with a sort of sadness, like she wished it wasn't there. She never wore makeup either, he remembered the time she came in with lipstick and mascara but ended up scrubbing her face with a napkin by the time she left.

Parvis didn't care, she was gorgeous without it.

He made it a sort of hobby, people watching. Not in the creepy way, he just found her interesting and after all she was in his coffee shop.

When she first came in she was wearing skirts and leggings, but she never seemed comfortable. He had noted how she had fidgeted, never content with where her legs lay or how the skirt was splayed out. These habits stopped when she started wearing men's pants.

He remembered how in the start she wore blouses. But she was always adjusting the tank-tops and never seemed satisfied with how the shirts clung to her skin. She never did that when she her wore hoodies and vests.

He remembered when she wore heels and how she always slipped them off when no-one was looking. No-one except Parv that is. After a few months of this she came in with sneakers. Parvis decided he liked them better than the heels.

He noted how her hair seemed to be getting progressively shorter, each week a couple inches above where it was last. This continued until it was almost shorter than Parv's. Not that Parv cared, she was still gorgeous.

He recalled the first time she came in wearing a tie. She had looked so nervous but so proud of herself at the same time. It was cute.

He remembered the first time Zoey had been corrected.

"What can I get you today miss?"

"Sir please, and the usual." Zoey had blinked before a wide smile was plastered on the red-head's face.

"Of course, of course, sorry sir!" He had looked so thankful at that, it looked like he wanted to hug her. Parvis decided to stop calling him 'her'.

He remembered how his voice began to change. When he first came in it was feminine, but still slightly low. Now it was getting deeper, and the deepness came with stubble forming on his chin. He didn't shave often, seeming to be proud of the fact he had come this far into transition. Parvis had realized long ago he was transitioning.

Now it was Saturday and Parvis had decided.

He wanted to ask him out.

He never really noted when his crush developed but one day while glancing at the beautiful man in the booth across the shop he realized that's how he referred to him as. Beautiful.

He really hoped this man liked him to.

"Hey, I'm Parvis. I've seen you coming to the coffee shop for a while now and I think your really pretty, do you maybe want to go out sometime?" He bounced on his heels as the man took a double take.

"W-What?" "Sorry um, I didn't mean to seem sudden. It's alright if you don't want to.."

"No, no, that's not-" He sighed and ran his fingers through his golden hair nervously.

"Do you know what I am?"

Parvis stared at him slightly confused "Sorry?" "Oh um, it's just that I-I'm trans and I'm not sure you'd want-" "Why would that change anything?"

The blond looked up. "Wait you- you don't care?" "Mate, I'm pansexual. Gender can go fuck itself." Parv grinned down at the flustered blonde.

"You know, I never did catch your name."

"What? Oh ya right, W-William. William Strife, but umm... My family insists on calling me Tiffany." He fidgeted awkwardly in his seat.

"So... Yes or no to the date?" "Oh um, that would be a yes then." The blonde gave him a nervous smile which Parvis returned happily. "So, exchange numbers?"

A couple weeks later Parvis had given up his spot by the counter to accompany Will in his booth. And together they would sit, arms around each other as Will typed on his computer and Parv read in that cute little coffee shop on the corner were people were friendly and the coffee was good and there was always someone to fix the wifi.

And they wouldn't have it any other way.

Author's Note: Any thoughts? I was feeling a cute mood and have recently been watching a lot of Buzzfeed and this somehow turned into Trans!Strife. So ya. Hope you enjoyed my sugars! ~AvatheBulldog
