"Ah you must be the new rookie, welcome to the Rebel Alliance." a woman with purple clothing and a visor greeting the man as he exited the ship. He immediately straightened up, recognizing authority.

"Commander Proasheck I-" "Oh shush no need for the formalities, call me Zoeya." She smiled at him. He relaxed a bit.

"Okay Zoey, if we're being all friendly I'm Alex Parvis. Call me Parv." He grinned back. She clapped her hands together excitedly.

"Well Parv I'll go introduce you to your advisor. Follow me." The tall man quickly followed her as she lead him to a broken down ship, half buried in the earth. She wrapped on the door.

"Will! Your new apprentice has arrived!" She gave Parv an encouraging smile before heading back towards the ship landing premises. Parv turned back as the door opened.

Forward stepped a Lumian dressed in black and red clothing. The blonde couldn't be much more than 4 years older than him but still retained the look of seniority. Parv blinked at the glowing green freckles and eyes that stared at him, he hadn't actually met a Lumian before. He grinned.

"Hello, I'm Alex Parvis are you Will?" "That's Mr. Strife to you." The man growled. Parv seemed a bit taken aback, he'd expected someone more like Zoey.

"Uh yes sir, sorry sir." The blonde huffed at this before stepping back to let him inside. The door banged shut behind him as Parvis entered the ship. He looked around in amazement, this place was beautiful! The floor of the spaceship had been removed, replaced by wooden steps leading to different levels of the submerged ship. Technology and papers were in neat stacks all around the walls with small doors leading off to separate rooms. There were large stained-glass panes in the ceiling letting in colored light and wind-chimes tinkling softly somewhere in the house. Flowering plants grew neatly on some of the walls, vines leading up towards the ceiling. A couple orchids where growing in pots by a window, glowing a soft blue.

"Mr. Strife this is amazing!" Parvis breathed. The blonde smirked slightly.

"I built it myself, reminds me of the home planet." Strife walked down to one of the doors. "This is your quarters, we begin training tomorrow." He said decisively. Parvis nodded and grinned. "You know, this place is almost as pretty as you."

The alien's face tinted a slight green at this but he turned his head so Parv couldn't see. "No flirting just yet rookie."

Parvis grinned "Sure thing Strife, sure thing."

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Parv rolled over in bed, groaning slightly at the sores on his body. Strife's battle training was vigorous, he would give him that. His legs hadn't been this hammered in ages. He sighed, one week in and he had barely gained any skills at all. Though he did think Strife was less grouchy around him so that was something. He smiled slightly thinking of the times the alien had blushed from his efforts to flirt with him. At least he thought it was blush, hopefully Lumians didn't turn colors when they where angry or he might have just screwed himself over for a lifetime. The man brushed it off and rolled over again, trying to find some way of not touching any of his bruises. That was when he heard it.
A low whimpering coming from one of the other rooms.
Parvis frowned and pushed himself into a sitting position. He listened intently wondering what on earth was making the sound.
