Chapter 12: The fight

The door suddenly bursts open and so many goblins charge through followed by the cave troll. Gimli buries his axe into two goblins already. Aragorn and Boromir push through into the mass with their swords, Legolas fires arrows into the Goblins throats straight away. And me? Well I covered the hobbits in the corner but I want to do something but I don't want to loose the hobbits. The cave troll attacks Aragorn pushing him aside, when I notice two goblins heading for me, as soon as they are a few steps from me I uncover my sword and dig it into the goblins killing them instantly. I turn round to see Sam fighting a Goblin with a frying pan and actually knocks it out while I stab it. "I think I'm getting the hang of this" Sam exclaims making me laugh as I rush to kill off more goblins that come through the door. The cave troll lunges towards Frodo but I step in the way stabbing it in the leg which didn't do much it just shook me off and I flew and hit my back on the opposite wall. I feel a pain shoot through my spine as I see the troll stab Frodo in the chest while the other hobbits go mad but I remember Frodo's mithril shirt so I know he's fine. Merry and Pippin jump onto the troll stabbing at it and when it opens its mouth Legolas shoots an arrow killing it there and then.

The hobbits run towards Frodo seeing if he is alive, "he's alive!" Sam shouts to us,
"I'm alright. I'm not hurt" Frodo tells us.
I see them all talking but what I see is a blur. The pain in my back is killing me making me wince as I try to get up.

"Caitlin!" I hear a voice call and feel somebody next me,
"Caitlin! Are you okay?" I hear the hobbits call as I see them surround me.
"What happened, where does it hurt?" Legolas asks and I hear worry in his voice.
"Cave troll. Back." I reply shortly as the pain is too much.
Legolas helps me stand up as the pain rushes through me but I find it easier to stand. Legolas keeps hold of me in case I fall. Loud booms interrupt the silence.
"To the bridge of Khazad-dum!" Gandalf shouts leading us out, with Legolas helping me run.
