Chapter 15: I just want to know my future

I sit on a tree stump while Braelyn stands behind me using her magic or something to rid me of my pain. I cant feel much but I feel heat on my back which I assume must be her magic working. "Sorry I didn't catch your name..." she questions,
"Caitlin" I reply wincing in pain.
"Well its nice to meet you Caitlin, I'm glad there's at least one girl on this journey" Braelyn states making me laugh. "Oh I know I've been stuck with men for so long I actually needed to speak with someone my own gender." I laugh not really had thought about it before but it would be nice to have a female friend with me on this quest. " Don't get me wrong there my friends but sometimes you need to speak with a girl" I exclaim as she finishes her magic and my back feels completely fine.
"Thank You so much" I stand,
"no problem, and yes I understand. But 8 guys and one girl there must be some romance involved in this quest, well I hope so nobody around here has caught my eye. I hope I find someone out of this forest" she tells me walking round the room deep in thought. 
"No there's no romance going on... well I don't think so anyway. It wouldn't work out, so there all yours" I tell her with a nervous laugh, "you might find romance though" I quickly say smiling at her.

 
"Oh here" she holds out a dress to me "an elvish dress to wear these next few days before you leave, there's a hot bath in that room so you can wash and I will be right here to take you back to your friends so you don't get lost in the forest" she explains and I head into the next room. After I wash and put the elvish dress on me which is silver in colour, tight waisted but flows outwards to the ground with swirling patterns down the sides. I walk out to see Braelyn waiting for me and we walk out into the forest where the rest of the fellowship is. We walk into a pavilion set near some trees and a fountain which was beautiful. "Here we are" she concludes, "Thanks for everything Braelyn" I reply and she heads off in to the trees. I look to the left to see Pippin staring well I should say gazing at her as she walks away. I smile to myself knowing that gaze.

"Caitlin!" Legolas exclaims as he bounds gracefully up to me which startles me slightly. I see him look at me in surprise, since it is the first time I've properly washed in a long time and actually am dressed up. "You look amazing" he gapes at me "thank you, you don't look too bad yourself" I reply and then scold myself for actually saying that. I see the fellowship smirking between themselves so we quickly let it go and smile awkwardly at each other.

 I hear in the distance elves singing beautifully and calm. "A lament for Gandalf" Legolas sadly says walking around, "what do they say about him?" Merry asks. 
"I have not the heart to tell you. For me the grief is still to near" he continues as I place a hand on his shoulder in comfort as I know elves are not accustomed to death. After listening to Sam start his speech I lay down on my bed that I rolled out between Legolas and Frodo. 

I think about life. Middle Earth. My real home. I just want to know my future.

I then hear a soft voice in my head 'at midnight come to me by the great oak fountain, to the mirror, I will show you your future' and it ends, I know it was Galadriel.
