Chapter 36: Lothlorien

Chapter 36:

I'm leaving Minis Tirith today, travelling the seas with Gimli and Legolas. I don't think we will be gone for long as Gimli has to get back to his dwarven home but we are travelling around and then end at Mirkwood. Which I'm scared about it since I've read The Hobbit, I know what Legolas' dad is like.  I get ready and pack a few things to put in the horses pouch ,we are going on horse back to Lothlorien to drop Braelyn off and then getting in boats there.

I leave my room to meet Legolas, I'm not sure what we exactly are yet. Its going good between us, but he has never said anything about us being together. Like I need clarification, I laugh in my head at how weird I am.

I walk into the courtyard to see Gimli and Braelyn packing up, "where's-" I'm about to ask where Legolas is when I feel arms wrap round my waist and pick me up and spin around. "Ahhhhh.." i scream as he places me back on the ground with a huge grin on both of our faces. "Good morning" he kisses me on the forehead and lifts me up on the horse to set off.

It was a two day ride to Lothlorien, we stop off at night to get some sleep. We all sit round a fire and tell stories of other adventures, I didn't have many but I was able to tell them about how I came into this world. Legolas and Braelyn knew I was from a different 'Earth' but I hadn't told them the full story. Gimli also was surprised about the whole immortal thing cause oops I forgot to tell him. I lean on Legolas'  shoulder, "immortal aye? Hah that helps you out princeling" Gimli laughs as I lift my head off Legolas shoulder awkwardly and he turns away slowly. Braelyn laughs "well done Gimli" she snorts at Gimli.

We all head to sleep and head off straight away in the morning for Lothlorien.

We arrived at the beautiful forest and walked up the wooden stair case to be greeted by Lady Galadriel and Lord Celeborn. "Greetings, it is nice to see you three again. " She smiles at us all "and how far you've cone since the last we met" she continues locking eyes with me and Legolas. " I knew you were coming and have provided two bedrooms for you with spare clothes and there is a feast tonight, you three are more than welcome to join" she smiles.

"Hannon le" Legolas bows as we place our hands across our chest. "I, myself will show you to your rooms" Galadriel tells us as she walks wanting us to follow her.
We walk through the wooden path, its so beautiful around here the houses look so pretty. We enter a hall and walk down the corridor "Welcome to your new room Braelyn"  Galadriel stops at one room before she continues down the hall and stops at the last door, "and this your room" she stops and looks deep into my eyes. I look up scrunching my eye brows confused, "erm- i - erm, - its only one room" I stutter out. I look at Legolas and he looks just as confused as me. I got no answer Lady Galadriel just smiles at me and places a hand on my shoulder and walks back down the hall with the sound of Braelyn laughing, I smirk knowing she's laughing at how awkward I am.

I walked in to the room and straight into the bath area, changing and walking out awkwardly. I see Legolas making a bed on the sofa as I get in to the actual bed. I lie on one side feeling really guilty, "you don't have to sleep on the sofa" I say and I feel the other side of the bed move and his arms wrap round me as I drift off to sleep smiling.
