All a Lie

3rd Person POV:

     The host club sat with Akira outside of the ICU, it had been 20 minutes since she had been transferred there. The nurses wouldn't tell them any news. Akira hadn't touched the letter Aspen wrote. She was too afraid of what it would say, all the bad things that had happened between them, she was scared. Tamaki kept rereading his section of the letter. Thinking how there was no way that Ash, the Ash he knew, would write something like this. Though the Ash he knew wasn't real.

     "You said her name was Aspen....Aspen who?" Kyoya asked Akira, He wanted to know as much as he could about the girl that had been with them for the past few months.

     "Aspen Kudo." Akira's voice was soft and painfully sad. The words she spoke sounded like they had been wrenched out of her throat, but her voice didn't break. Kyoya quickly pulled out his computer, and looked up the name in the police database.

     Name: Aspen Marie Kudo

     Age: 17

     Blood Type: A-

     Parents: Alexandria Kudo (Formerly: Alexandria Young), Hisao Kudo

     Fiance: Ash Hashimoto (Deceased)

     Nationality: Japanese-American

     Aspen Marie Kudo was born in America, at the age of 8 she moved to Japan. She was born to Alexandria Young and Hisao Kudo, though it is not clear whether Hisao is her real father. On October 20th Aspen was at the hospital for her Fiance. Ash Hashimoto got into a car crash on October 19th at 11:04 pm, another car had slid off of the road into his, injuring Ash severely. he was admitted into the hospital that night. Ash had a brain hemorrhage and later died from the injuries at 12:53 am. Aspen was in the hospital outside the ICU when he died.

     Afterwards, Aspen admitted to killing her Uncle. The Hospital proceeded to call the police. When the police arrived, Aspen asked for a rape kit to be run on her. The police and the hospital proceeded to do so, and the kit came back positive. The DNA matched her Uncle. Later at the station, as we waited for her parents to arrive she told us what happened that night. Aspen refused to tell us the whole story but she told us enough.

     On October 19, her uncle was supposed to be babysitting her while her parents were away. He raped her that night, and she shot and killed him. Aspen ran out of the house and called Ash Hashimoto, since he was her fiance. On his way to get her, Ash got in a car wreck that later killed him. No charges were pressed, the offender was shot and killed, and the shot was in self defense. Since that day, Aspen Kudo has not gone to a doctor. After October 20th Aspen Kudo dropped off the grid, and has not been seen since.

     Kyoya was shocked at the words he read. Was this really the girl in the Hospital now? The innocent smile she always had at school was hiding all this. The millions of scars covering her arms, and god knows any other places, was hidden behind that simple facade. Kyoya hadn't realized that a tear ran down his cheek. Why he was crying, he hadn't a clue, but as he tried to stop, his sobs grew harder attracting the attention of the members around him.

     The Host club was asking what was wrong and all he did was push his computer in front of the confused men and Haruhi. Why? That was what was spinning through all of their heads as they finished reading the report. The other members couldn't help but join Kyoya. None of them had really known Aspen. None of them knew of all the pain she was hiding, and they hurt. Their hearts crying out in pain at the thoughts of the smiling 'Ash' at the host club. Why hadn't they seen through her? Though one male blamed himself the most.

     "I knew." Hani spoke sadly, catching the attention of the other hosts. "I knew about the scars, but she told me-she told me she didn't anymore. She told me her parents died. Was all of it a lie?"

All of it was a lie.
