My body has finally healed enough for me to be able to move, though the host club has no idea. I had been faking being in the wheelchair for a few days now. Haruhi and Ranka couldn't stop going to work and school anymore. They left me home alone because Akira was busy and the rest of the host club had some important exam today. I pulled myself out of bed. Setting my weight on my feet, I walked carefully to the door. I opened the door and stepped outside. Holding onto the railing, I made my way down the stairs.
"Finally," I whispered to myself. Looking at the road, I tried remembering where the store was. Walking straight down the street, I went to go buy more toys.
Host Club:
"Tamaki are you guys closed again today?!" one of his regulars asked, her voice covered in disappointment.
"Sorry, princess." Tamaki said, trying to rush to the host club room, they were all meeting up before going to see Aspen.
"Where's Ash? What happened to him?" Komimi asked, worried that Ash hadn't been at school for the past few months. The only ones who knew what happened was the host club and Mr. Suoh.
"Sorry." Haruhi said, rushing down the hallway to the host club.
"Excuse me. Are you a member of the host club?" A tall-ish, brown haired, middle school student asked Haruhi. "Could you ask 3rd year student Mitsukuni Haninozuka to meet me out here?"
"Who? Hani-sempai? You sure?" Haruhi asked a little drained from worrying about Ash, it was the first day they had left her completely alone.
"Yes." The middle schooler nodded. At that moment, Hani and Mori looked out the door.
"Haruhi, hurry up. We have to go see Ash-Chan!" Hani spoke. He turned his attention away from the brunette girl and into the eyes of his brother. Trying not to seem as if anything was wrong, he exclaimed "Oh, look, it's Chika-Chan! So, What's up? You rarely come over to the High school like this to see me."
"Guy's we have to get going!" The twins called in unison, running to the door. Kyoya and Tamaki followed closely behind.
"Prepare yourself, Mitsukuni." Chika called, jumping into the air, aiming to hit Mitsukuni. Hani dodged his attack jumping off of Mori's back and onto the ground.
"Sorry Chika-Chan, I can't fight with you today!" Hani giggled, though his eyes turned serious.
"Let's go. We have to hurry." Mori said, picking up Hani and walking out the door of the host club. Rushing down the hallway to make it to Haruhi's house. Chika who was left behind curiously followed them. After a few minutes of walking, they arrived at Haruhi's house. It was then that Aspen was walking down the street, back to the house. Aspen smiled looking back, only to come face to face with the host club.
"Awe, I have visitors today." Aspens cold eyes hadn't lit up with her smile. Takashi reached for the bag, only to have her dodge his attempts. "Why can't I have any toys?" Aspen asked innocently, she had been going mental being locked in a house without anything to 'play' with. Chika was confused with this encounter...'toys?' he thought, 'She's just like Hani.' The host club battled the bag out of her hands, finally ripping it in two. The contents of the bag flew in the air and over in front of Chika. Aspen, looked at the empty bag and tried to run to pick up the contents. Chika looked at the things in front of him. 'Razor blades...How could those be toys?'
"Aspen, stop!" Mitsukuni cried out, trying to stop the blonde girl from escaping.
"Why are you guys ruining my life?!" Aspen screamed out. Tears had started falling from her eyes, it was weird and foreign to her. Why had she always felt things she wasn't supposed to around them. She had wanted to die, she still did. She hadn't wanted to keep living without Ash, but it was strange; for someone who hadn't ever had someone, for someone who had hardly ever cried, she was falling apart a lot faster, and she wanted it to end. Takashi pulled the crying Aspen into his arms. Hani had joined the hug, and slowly the rest of the hosts did too. Chika just stood watching the moment. 'What was going on?' Looking back at the ground in front of him, he tried connecting everything.
"Razors?" He said, not realizing that it had come out of his mouth. The host club looked at him. Even Aspen was surprised to see him, but she didn't let it show.
"Chika..." Mitsukuni called to his brother, slowly approaching him.
"Who?" Aspen had asked. For some weird reason, having someone else here to see her break down, made her feel betrayed. Why was she feeling things again? Recomposing herself she tried to smile at the boy, though the best she could do was to have a blank look on her face. "Hello. Chika was it?" She asked the middle schooler. Turning to look at the girl they had been hugging, his eyes widened. He assessed her body; she wore shorts and a long sleeve shirt, though the sleeves had come up some revealing the marks on her arms. Everything was starting to fall into place in his mind.
"Would you mind giving big sister her toys back?" Aspen asked, pointing to the razors. The host club quickly went to retrieve them for disposal. Aspen watched as they carried her 'toys' away. Sighing to herself, she quickly put on her normal face, one without emotion, without fear. One without life. "Awe...my poor toys." she spoke, walking her way back to the Fujioka's apartment.
No emotion, No fear, No life.
A/N: Hey guys. So, it's been pretty long considering how fast I normally update. I hadn't told you guys this but I have had problems with my wrists for YEARS! Currently, I wrote everything left handed and I'm a righty. My right wrist is swollen up so big, and I have to have a lidocane patch on it to get it to stop hurting, for those of you who don't know what lidocane is, it is a numbing drug, and it is very strong. On top of my wrist, I had school so BLEH...I hadn't had lots of time for the story. Doctors orders were for me not to use my right wrist, and I have to go to a hand surgeon...YAY! Anyway I hope you all like this chapter, thanks for all the love~Kai.
