Faking it OHSHC is over.

The last chapter called 'Faking it' was also the very last chapter of this book.

For all of those who have been with me since I first started writing this book, thank you so much, and I'm sorry. I know a lot of people were counting of the ending to be full of romance, and all cutesy especially because I had a vote of who she should be all feelsy with, but that's not it. The biggest thing about this book is that rather than it actually being a OHSHC fan-fiction, it was more of a book in itself. One where, sure there was the host club and it had moments about OHSHC but it wasn't really all about OHSHC.

For those of you who didn't know, I started this story off with an idea for the ending already. Love doesn't last forever, and there was no way I was about to make his story 80 chapters long just to show it. In truth, I wanted this story to be real. Little things like death, and realizing things can change a person. For Aspen, she figured out after being told shes a liar, that she was confusing herself. In the end though, she recognized that maybe she needed to change, maybe she really could do with staying a little while longer in the world. She had gone through a lot of rough things in her life and in the end she found people who would stay with her through her fight.

I wanted the story to end, exactly as it did. Aspen was a character I made to be relate able to. Aspen was always under pressure, always being looked down on, and always being shunned. She had found something, and had it taken away in an instant. She had something precious stolen from her, but she still had her morals. Aspen, had been going through so much so she only found one ending, to end it all. With her thoughts and her past, I didn't find her to be like other character that had something unreasonable happen, and didn't fight it. I made her hollow, because growing up in an environment like she did, that's how she became. She wasn't innocent or pure, she wasn't someone who broke down after one hit, and I hope you guys realize that. Aspen was a lot stronger than most of you probably think. She was raped and lost her fiance in the same night, and yet she still had strength to fulfill her fiance's wish.

I have always been one for bad ass MC's lets be honest here. If you could have Yui from DL, or Mikoto from Railgun who would you chose? I would chose Mikoto. I love strong, capable women, end of story. I hate things where the girl is so innocent its cringe worthy. I have 4 brothers so growing up in my house, it definitely didn't make me a pure little angel. I grew up getting into fights, and getting beat up. I grew up always trying to be independent, that was just how it was.

I really want to thank all of my readers, I know I got kinda lazy around the ending, and I know this story might not be the best. I worked really hard though to make this story, every night before bed I would spend like an hour and a half just trying to get the chapter right. This story was a big part of my life, it is the first story I have publicly shared with anyone so it means a lot to me. Thank you.

For any readers fighting depression or suicidal thoughts please don't fight by yourself. I had suffered through depression and it sucked, it really did, but I got help and I'm better now. I have also lost friends to suicide so I think I understand. I though, am lucky, I had friends that helped me through it, I had a supportive family also, and although you might not be as lucky I will help.
