Mori and Hani helped me into my bed after my outburst. The host club was surprised, for once in a long while I cried. Sitting in my bed I waited for Mr. and Mrs. Kudo to come in. I was tired of them, even though I was abused they didn't help, even though I was born I was never a part of the family, even though I wanted to die they didn't care. With all the criticism and no affection I wondered why I hadn't accepted it till now. I have known for years, but only now was I able to accept it.
The host club looked at me as I sat in my bed. I could feel the dried salt on my cheeks, and I didn't like it. I watched the door and the others watched me, like I was a fragile doll. Mr. and Mrs. Kudo finally walked in the door. They created a loud noise apparently tired with all of my b.s. The stares from the two of them could have buried me alive. Sighing, I looked back at them, my 'demon blood' eyes looking at them bored.
"Aspen. Lets go." Mr.Kudo spoke to me. They hadn't deserved the status of parents.
"She's not going anywhere!" Hani spoke out to them.
"And, Who are you? You look like a freaking first grader. Listen kid, the adults are talking." Mrs Kudo's cold voice spoke, condescending him with just a look.
"My name is Mitsukuni Haninozuka, The eldest son of the Haninozuka group. As in Martial arts, and lady, I'm a 3rd year...in high school." Hani spoke, the once childish aura gone. Mrs. Kudo shuddered at his words, then turned her attention back to me.
"Why haven't you moved yet. Aspen, I am in no mood to deal with your pity shit right now."
"Ah. Sorry Mrs. Kudo, I can't believe it." I spoke back to her. You could see a flash of shock on her face from me calling her Mrs. Kudo, rather than Mother.
"Believe what Aspen?"
"I almost gave a fuck about what you wanted." I smiled slyly at the woman standing in front of me.
"Aspen. Now." Mr. Kudo spoke from beside Mrs. Kudo.
"Like Hani-senpai said, she's not going with you two." Kyoya spoke adjusting his glasses in the progress.
"Why not?" Mr. Kudo asked, ah yes, he was always more straight to the point.
"If you force her against her will to come with you, I will have my private police force arrest you. You see, I have this particular video of you slapping your daughter. That's called child abuse sir. I'm also sure Aspen will have no problem helping me with these accusations." Kyoya nodded his head towards me. Tears welled up in my eyes as I stared at the scene.
"He didn't stop, It happens all the time. I can't even defend myself, he's so strong, and I never do anything. Please, he's a monster. My mother, she won't even help, she just watches, smiling. What am I going to do?" I sobbed into my hands. Then I brought my face up and smiled at them. Of course it wasn't real, it never was.
"Fine. You are no longer welcome in this family. I never want to see you again. I will have papers disowning you from the family register by the end of the week." Mr. Kudo spoke grabbing his wife's arm and ushering her out of the room. As they left I sighed. I won't be able to hurt myself for a while, not with these freaks watching over me.
"So...Aspen, where will you be staying?" Hikaru asked, reminding everyone that Aspen doesn't have a place to stay now.
"She can stay with me." Haruhi spoke up, "I mean I am a girl and all, plus she wouldn't mind a commoner's house. I wouldn't think."
"Fine by me, now can you guys leave? I'm tired." I told them, while closing my eyes. So many new emotions. So many broken ends. So many people. As they left, I opened my eyes and stared at my arms. So many scars. I smiled and closed my eyes, I may actually sleep for a night.
Pfft. Child Abuse. Nice one Kyoya.
Okay so this is just a little disclaimer...I don't think Child abuse is funny. It is very serious. So the last sentence is just...ya know...Aspen. Sorry If I offended anyone.
