Bias

Shine wakes up at the sound of Mom knocking at her door.

"Shine! Shine! the breakfast is ready! go down now!" Mom said.

"Okay" Shine unwillingly answer Mom, indicating that she is already awake but her eyes are still close.

Finally, Shine open her eyes, "What a weird dream?!" Shine said to herself in a low voice.

Still confused by her dream, Shine stand up.

"Why am I still holding this?" She asked herself while looking at the flowers Allen gave her. Shine then put the flowers down her in the bed and head to the bathroom.

Shine is now prepared to go to work and head downstairs, she bring down the flowers with her.

"Mom do we have an extra vase?" She asked her mother as she walk down the stairs.

"I think, there is one in the kitchen" Mom answered.

"Thanks" Shine said as she head in the kitchen. She open the cabinets and finally found a vase, she get the vase and fill it with water before she puts on the flowers she receive from Allen yesterday .

Shine put the vase above the counter top and join Dad, Mom and Min that are already sitting in their places.

"Does Allen gave you that?"Mom asked looking at the flowers vase.

"Yeah" Shine short reply while she take her seat.

"Allen is such a nice kid,Shine... and handsome too. But for some reason, I like that Yuzuru boy more" Mom said and wink at Shine  —maybe, Mom knows that Shine has a thing for Yuzuru.

"Really? Why?" Shine asked her mom as she put cereals in her bowl. Shine smile as she can't hide being please to hearing Mom.

"I don't know, I just feel that he is more sincere towards you. And you know what they say about woman's intuition" Mom said smiling while looking at Shine.

"Hahaha! Mom, Yuzuru and I are just friends" Shine replied, stopping herself from further flattering about the idea.

"And besides, I think he already has someone" Shine added before Mom can speak and it's obvious that she hate every words in her last sentence.

"Really? He has someone already? I thought he is single? Oh well! it doesn't make sense if he hasn't have a girl though; He is a true charmer. Anyway, I like him more for you, if only he is available" Mom said.

"Yeah a charmer" Shine said in her mind.

"Me too! I like Yuzuru more" Min join their conversation too.

"Really! Min? Why do you like Yuzuru more?"Shine asked her little brother, a little shocked by his choice.

"Because Yuzuru and me have more fan together" Min innocently answer while he eat his pancakes.

"But you know Allen longer?" She asked again, happily looking at her brother.

"Yes...but he's always with you" Min hesitantly answered.

Shine can't believe in what Min said, "Does he?" Shine asked Min, who is now focus on his food. Then, she looked at her Mom too with a looked asking the same question.

Without saying a word, Mom and Min answer Shine by nodding

Shine is dumbfounded by Min and Mom's response when suddenly, Dad speak.

"I like Allen more"Dad said.

Everyone on the table looked at him.

"What? I thought this is an open topic!" Dad defend himself.

But no one responded and Dad continue.

"Allen is known by our family longer and his family is also our friends. Plus he is available and like our Shine here!" Dad explain his choice. Then, Dad looked at Mom in the eyes and they seems to understand each other clearly.

"What is this? Do they have another reason I can't know about?" Shine said in her mind as she looked at her parents.

"Anyway, Allen is too good to be true while Yuzuru...well Yuzuru is just a friend" Shine said finishing their conversation about Allen and Yuzuru.

After breakfast, Min and Shine went out the house where both Allen and Yuzuru are waiting.

"Good morning" Yuzuru and Allen greet in sync.

"Good morning! Yuzuru, Allen" Shine greets them too.

"Good morning" Min also greets them and bow his head.

"Are you okay now, Min?" Yuzuru directly asked Min while he touches Min's head.

"Yes" Min answered happily.

"Since we are all here, I'll drive you all to the club" Allen then offer.

"No thank you! I want to walk with Yuzuru" Min said to Allen and hold Yuzuru's hand. Then, Min immediately drag Yuzuru away from Shine and Allen.

"Min!...Min!" Shine called her brother but Min is not stopping and continue to pull Yuzuru as they walk.

"Allen, I am so sorry about that. I don't know why Min is acting this way today?" Shine said, apologetic to Allen and she looked at Min's direction.

"That's Okay, I guess I'll just give you a ride next time then" Allen said with a smile. Shine looked at Allen and she can see the disappointment in his face even though he is smiling.

"I am really, really, really sorry! I promise next time we'll ride with you" Shine said  apologetic.

But before Allen can respond, Shine said "Bye!" hurriedly. She wave goodbye to Allen and leave him alone as she run towards Min and Yuzuru, that are few meters away from her now.

When Shine finally catch up with them, she holds Min's shoulders to stop him. She turn him around and her hold to Min's shoulders become tighter.

"Ha..ha..ha..Min why did you do that? That's not a good thing to do! Allen is just being nice to us! And what you did is a bad thing! You can't act like that to someone older than you!" Shine said breathless and angry.

Min is scared and he cry, Shine never got angry with him.

"Sor...ry" Min said while crying.

Shine released Min from her hold and Min's crying become louder.

Yuzuru sits down in his knees and he wipe Min's tears.

"Min stop crying" Yuzuru said as he move his hand up and down on Min's back.

Shine still angry looked down to Yuzuru and Min. She slightly smile at herself as she see Yuzuru consoling Min —she is witnessing a touching the scene.

"Shine, I understand your anger. But this is a public place, you shouldn't shout and humiliate Min here. Find a private place where you can scold your brother and not here, where people can see" Yuzuru said while he is looking up to Shine.

"Min, don't cry anymore" Yuzuru console Min more after he give Shine a lecture.

Shine feel guilty after hearing Yuzuru. She sits on her knees too, besides Min and hold Min's face with her both hands.

"I am sorry that I hurt you but you should know that what you did is wrong. Later, you will have to apologize to Allen, Okay?" Shine said while looking into Min's eyes.

"....Okay...."Min said, sobbing.

"Stop crying now" Shine wipe Min's tears. Shine and Yuzuru stand up, and they hold Min's hand. They start walking again like nothing happened.

When they reach the club.

While, Min is still holding Yuzuru's hand, Shine enter her post and she handed Yuzuru and Min their keys. Min then drag Yuzuru in the direction of the ice rink upon receiving their keys from Shine.

Yuzuru face Shine once more before Min completely drag him out of Shine's sight.

"Shine, we are still okay for later, right?" Yuzuru hurriedly reminded Shine. He wink and smile to her while he is being drag more by Min.
