Lexi...

"No, Taya. I was sleeping earlier. I really needed the sleep." I laughed.

"Sleeping around with Fetty, hello!" She yelled into the phone, laughing shortly afterwards.

I rolled my eyes at her statement. "I don't have time for this." I snuggled up under Fetty as he continued to sleep for an interview in the morning. "Now can I talk to my child?"

"Who's that snoring?" She asked.

I didn't even notice it. I'd gotten used to it. It used to annoy me, but now I don't even notice Fetty's snoring.

"....Mind your business." I snapped.

"Ooh, I'm so happy to see the two of you getting back together! This is the cutest." She cheered.

"But we're not together though." I said with humor in my voice.

"You've said that before. Now look, I'm babysitting your kid for the weekend." She replied.

"Bitch, just let me tell my son goodnight before he goes to sleep!" I tried to stifle back my laugh.

"Mhmm, Mrs. Maxwell." She teased.

I could hear shuffling in the background before Aydin said, "Hi, mommy."

"Hi, baby. Did you have fun today?" I asked.

"A lot." I could tell her had that cute grin on his face.

"What did you do?" I really got interested.

"Jay and I played with Legos. I need some more because he has better ones than me and that ain't good." He sighed.

I just giggled. "That does sound fun. Make sure you brush all of your little teeth before you go to sleep, okay?"

"I already did it." He boasted.

"Oh," I held onto my chest. "Well excuse me. I forgot, you're a big boy."

"I am! Goodnight mommy. Auntie says she's going to put on Spider-Man so Jay and I can watch it until we go to sleep."

"Goodnight, baby. Daddy and I miss and love you so much." I poked my bottom lip out.

"I'm very happy, mommy." He replied.

"And why is that, Aydin?" I questioned and cut the television off to get ready to go to bed.

"I'm happy that we all live together again."

Aw, that really made me happy.

"I'm happy that you're happy, baby." I wiggled my eyebrows before I yawned. "Ooh, looks like mommy's getting sleepy." I lightly snickered. "Goodnight, don't let the bedbugs bite."

"Goodnight mommy." He said before hanging up the phone.

-The next morning

"Will, calm the fuck down. Where's the last place you saw it?" I calmly asked, sitting up in his bed watching his practically tear apart the room to find his damn Haitian bandana.

He groaned and threw his head back. "Bruh," He sat next to me. "I don't fuckin' know."

"That sounds like a problem, buddy." I got on my knees and turned to him. "Maybe you could just go without it? You'll still be...cute." I hesitated to say.

"Bruh, my outfit would not be fresh as fuck without that-"

Without thinking, I climbed into his lap and cut him off with a passionate kiss. "Will, just go without the damn thing." I kissed his lips again. "Okay?" I looked up at him.

He licked his lips and lazily laughed, running his hands down my backside and grabbing my booty. "When you gone let me have this again?" He asked.

"When I'm ready." I got up off of him. I studied his hat for a minute. "Nigga!" I yelled, snatching the fedora off of his big ass head. "Is this what the fuck you was lookin' for?" I pointed at the bandana tied around it.

He squinted his eyes at it. "Oh shit! You found it!" He fell back on the bed, giving me that high-pitched laugh.

"And this is why I don't advise you to 'wake & bake'." I sarcastically stated before I threw the hat at him. "It's 10:46. You have about fifteen minutes to make it to your interview." I brought up.

"Oh shit!" He sat up and puckered up his lips. "I need my kiss before I go."

I scrunched my face up. "I just gave you some kisses. Boy, bye. We're not even together."

"We are..." He trailed off the find the right answer. "Friends with benefits."

"The benefits of kissing, hugging, and cuddling because we haven't had sex." I giggled.

He stood up. "Well, we should-"

"Ah, ah, ah. You're going to be late for this interview. You should get going my friend with benefit." I joked and began to push him out of the bedroom. "Now go!" I dragged out.

"Look at this, somebody come look at this..." He mocked Kevin Hart. "My baby mama kickin' me out of my house- again." He tried joking.

All I did was stale-face him. "Will." I sternly said, crossing my arms across my chest.

"Not a good thing to joke about?" He suggested.

"Well..." I replied in a high-pitched voice. I pinched my fingers together. "You're kinda this close to getting slapped. I'm just saying." I casually shrugged.

He laughed and leaned down to kiss my cheek. "I'll call you when I'm on my way home, aight?" He spoke.

I followed behind him down the stairs, stopping at the front door. "Mkay. But I'm not your girlfriend, you don't have to check in with me." I smiled and moved my hair out of my face.

"But I want to." He grabbed both of my hands. "I'm tryin' ta' show you that I'm tryin'; for us, for our family." He told me.

"Aw, look at you trying to be all sweet and whatnot." I caressed his cheek.

He shrugged me off. "Babe, come on..." He whined.

I placed my hand on my hip and raised an eyebrow at him, saying, "So that whining you just did was manly as fuck?"

"Man, I'm gone." He lightly laughed and turned to leave the house.
