-Two weeks later

Lexi...

"Me and Aydin just want to stay inside and watch movies. I'm not really up for going out with you guys. Especially since I can't do any drinking." I mumbled into my phone.

I was in a group call with Taya and Vanessa and they were trying to convince me to go out with them.

"Mommy, what do you want to watch?" Aydin asked.

I looked over at him, sitting on the edge of my bed in his pajamas and looking at all of the DVDs I'd brought out.

"Hmm...." I hummed as I thought. "Anything you want to watch, baby." I smiled.

"Okay." He happily replied and grabbed The Amazing Spider-Man.

"So, is that everything you wanted to say?" I asked Taya and Nessa.

Taya began to whine. "Come out with us, pleaseeeeee-"

A sound on my phone cut her off. I smiled at who was attempting to FaceTime me.

"My fiancé is calling. I'll have to call y'all back later." I squealed and quickly ended the call.

"Hey baby! Aydin, come here. It's daddy on the phone." I smiled.

"Hi daddy!" Aydin yelled.

Fetty laughed. "Wassup, Zoo? What y'all doin'?" He asked.

"We gonna watch Spider-Man." Aydin giggled.

"Wit'out me?" Fetty pretended to be hurt.

"Duh. You not here." Aydin said in a matter-of-fact type of tone. Then he crawled back to the edge of the bed. "Mommy, are you gonna put the movie in?" He asked.

"In a minute, Aydin. I'll be right back." I told him then looked back at the phone. I stepped out of the room. I slowly closed my eyes. "I miss you so much." I breathed out.

"Everything is so much scarier without you being here. I keep thinking Chris is going to find me and people from your past-"

"I wish the fuck they would touch you. I-"

"This isn't making it any better. And they're just thoughts." I mumbled, walking down the stairs, rubbing my arm.

"You're in New York, right?" I asked. "I need to see you."

He lightly laughed. "I'on want you drivin' that long of a distance just to come see me. If something happen to you and my baby-"

"Taya can bring me. My parents can drive me. I just need to see you, hug you, kiss you for a bit." I quickly said. I walked into the kitchen and began to pop some popcorn for me and Aydin.

"You soundin' a bit obsessed with a nigga." He busted out laughing.

I rolled my eyes. "That's only because I am." I teased. "I've started planning the wedding." I informed him.

"Shit, all you gotta do is plan and I'll show up." He responded.

"That's good. That's very good. Then everything can be my way."

"Baby won't you come my waaay?" He sang into the phone.

I smirked at him. "Always trying to sing to somebody. Shut up with that cute shit."

It got quiet for a minute.

"Ooh, what you makin' fat girl?" He called me by one of the nicknames he'd given me when we were best friends.

"Popcorn." I mumbled and opened up the microwave.

"Let me find out you doin' Netflix and Chill with a nigga in my house. I'm beatin' ass." Fetty joked.

I scoffed and poured the popcorn in a bowl. "With my son in the house? And I'm pregnant?" I scoffed. "But if I all of those things were out the picture, I'd definitely be having me a Netflix and Chill session with someone sexy." I teased with my tongue sticking out.

He glared at me through the screen. "Ha, ha, ha." He sarcastically laughed and flicked me off. "Put that damn tongue back in ya' mouth."

I immediately put it back in my mouth and made my way back upstairs. "I'm going to give the phone to Aydin for him to talk to you for a bit. I love you."

"Luh you too, Lex." He smirked before I handed the phone to Aydin.

I grabbed the movie and went over to the DVD player to put the movie in. I found myself getting very tired. So, after putting the movie in, I yawned and plopped down on the bed. Then, I quickly fell asleep.

But all I could hear was giggling and obnoxious laughing coming from my phone's speakers.

"Mommy ugly when she sleep." Fetty laughed.

All Aydin could do was giggle.

"Oh my gosh, you better not be recording or screenshotting this, Will!" I screeched. I quickly sat up and wiped my face. I had drool going down my cheek.

Aydin and Fetty continued to laugh at me, although I wasn't finding anything funny about the situation, of course.

It's never funny when it's you.

"Aydin, it's time to tell daddy goodnight." I pulled him into my lap.

"Goodnight." Aydin mumbled, obviously not interested in his father anymore. He was more interested in the movie I'd put in for him.

"Goodnight, daddy." I smirked at Fetty.

He bit his bottom lip at me and replied, "Mhmm. I'll talk to y'all in the mornin'."

"Goodnight." I said one last time before hanging up the phone.

I cut off my lamp and let Aydin continue to watch his movie. Eventually, the both of us fell asleep.
