-A day before the wedding
Lexi...
As I was coming into the house, I tripped over one of ZaZa's toys and fell on the floor.
Instead of getting up, I decided to stay on the floor for a while.
"What the hell is you doin' on the floor?" Fetty laughed, rocking the baby.
"I fell." I whined and sat up.
He held a hand out to help me up off the floor. "Be careful then."
"You should've cleaned up around here." I sassily replied.
"You gettin' an attitude with me?" He asked. "Cause I can fix it real quick."
"Boy bye." I held my hand up in his face. "You want to see my shoes?" I happily asked with a smile on my face.
I sat on the couch. "Aight. But ain't that like bad luck or some shit?"
"It's is for you to see me in my dress-not the shoes." I sat down next to him, pulling shoe boxes out of bags.
He squinted his eyes at me. "What the fuck did you do today? I thought you was buying shoes for the wedding and the last time I checked you can only wear one pair of shoes at a time."
I nervously smiled. "Oh," I stacked the Jordan and Christian Louboutin boxes up in front of us on the coffee table. "I was feeling happy so I went ahead and treated myself." I explained. "But anyways..."
I opened up a box of Christian Louboutins. "Daffodile Strass." I said the name of the shoe in a French accent as I showed it off.
When he gave me a confused look, said, "Christian Louboutin."
He played with the hairs on his chin. "How much was them fuckin' shoes?"
I put them back into the box. "They are so pretty. I'm going to look so pretty on Saturday. $5,995. Do you want to see the Jordans I got? We could be twinning!" I tried to hide the price in all of my rambling.
"Did you say $5,995?"
"Shut up. You buy a pair or Jordans every damn day and you're always buying expensive ass cars. Can't I splurge on myself for just this one special day?" I pecked his lips. "Pwetty pwease?"
He started to laugh. "I wasn't mad, if you thought I was."
"...I didn't." I looked around.
I took Eliza from him and kissed her cheek as she slept. "I should take her upstairs. Bring my bags please?" I stood up.
"Bring my bags please?" Fetty mocked in a squeaky voice. He grabbed all of my bags and began to follow me up the stairs.
"I do not sound like that." I scoffed.
"I do not sound like that." He mocked again.
"Keep on. I want you to." I threatened and turned into the baby's room. I carefully laid her down in her crib and went into our bedroom.
"Do you have anything else you want to sa-" I paused once I saw Fetty going through my bags.
"......What you doing?" I asked, taking my shoes into my closet.
As I was putting each pair into their own special place, I heard Fetty say, "Damn girl, you tryna put this on for me right now?"
I came out of the closet with my hands on my hips. "Again....what you doing?" I giggled as I reach for the lingerie I bought earlier.
