Omniscient...

"You want to go and buy me something to eat?" Lexington asked, walking into the kitchen where Fetty was.

He turned around to look at her. "I was jus' about to go somewhere."

"Okay?" She answered. "While you're out you can pick me and the baby up something."

"What you want ta' eat?" He asked.

She cheesed, making her dimples show. "Um..." She trailed off to think about it for a minute. "I don't know. What do you want, Eliza?" She spoke to her stomach.

"Who?" Fetty asked with some humor in his voice.

"Eliza. I was thinking Eliza Carmela Maxwell. You like it?"

"Not at all. We can't do nothin' wit a Z-"

"Nah. Her middle name is the cutest. Carmela like Carmelo, which is Aydin's middle name. I choose cute names, yes I do." She boasted and flipped her hair over her shoulder.

"No good." He shook his head.

"Anyways," Lexi said with an attitude. "Eliza and I want some fried chicken. That's it. Ooh, and some cherry pie." She licked her lips and moaned. "That. Sounds. Amazing."

"I thought the doctor said all that greasy shit wasn't healthy." Fetty mumbled.

Lexi followed him into the living room. "I did the same with Aydin and he turned out just fine." She shrugged, handing him a random set of car keys since he had so many cars. "And by the way, I actual eat healthy things."

"Oh, you do?" He sarcastically asked. "Lie to me again and that's ya' ass." Fetty playfully threatened while pointing his index finger at her.

He snapped her teeth at his finger like she was going to bite it. "I should've bitten you. I'm starving." She kissed his cheek. "Love you."

"Luh you too." He replied and went off to his car, getting in and pulling off.

Lexi pulled out her phone.

Lexi...

I got out of my conversation with Fetty and went upstairs to check on Aydin who was playing in the playroom.

"Hey, mommy's big boy, what are you playing?" I happily asked, sitting on the floor next to him.

He stacked some blocks on top of each other. "Makin' a castle." He shrugged and continued to do what he was doing.

"Would you mind if mommy helped you out?" I grabbed a small Lego figurine. I slightly giggled at it.

"What you laughing at, mommy?" He asked, probably wanting to laugh along with me.

"It's a little king!" I laughed. "Would you like me to put it at the top, right here?" I pointed to the top of the "castle" he'd made.

Honestly, if he wouldn't have told me what he was making, I wouldn't have known what the heap of stacked up blocks were.

"Yes please." He nodded his head.

I carefully put the small figurine on top of a block and moved back to look at it. "Ooh look, a queen. Every king needs his queen, right?"

"Yep." He replied and grabbed another lego, handing it to me. It was his favorite color as of right now- green. "Daddy says that he's the king and you're his pretty, special queen and that I'm you guys' prince. The baby's going to be the princess." He explained, looking through all of the Legos for something in specific.

"Daddy told you that?" I questioned, thinking that that was the cutest thing ever.

He nodded his head yes at my question.

How cute.

"You can't change the baby?" Aydin lowly asked.

"Hmm?" I answered. I didn't quite understand his question. "Baby, what do you mean by change?"

He sat up a little. "You and daddy told me that it's a girl." He pointed to my stomach. "You can't make it a boy?" He smiled.

I giggled.

The things kids say. I thought to myself.

"No baby, it doesn't work like that. God just chose what he wanted the baby to be. He thought we needed another girl in the house because dealing with you and daddy is a lot for mommy." I said, trying to stifle back my laughter.

"Really? When is the baby going to come out?"

"Hmm, my doctor told me that your little sister would be here around February 8th."

"That sounds like a long time." He murmured.

"In about six more months." I concluded. "Nine months in total."

"The baby is going to be in there for six more months?" He yelled. "That's a long, long, long, long, long-"

I laughed. "Aydin, inside voice." I held my hands over my ears for a while before removing them. "And yes. You were in there for that long as well. Don't be surprised." I smirked, pinching his cheek.

I suddenly got the hunger for some chocolate chip cookies.

"Hey, mommy and the baby want some homemade chocolate chip cookies. I'm going to need some help making the cookie dough," I got up from the floor and slowly stepped out of the room. "If only there was someone willing to help me..." I sarcastically called out.

"Me! I'll help you mommy!" He screamed as he quickly stood up to his feet.

I held my hand out for him to grab. "Well come on mommy's little chef." I snickered and we made our way downstairs into the kitchen.
