Lexi...
"Mom, I promised Will I would help him promote his album that's coming out on the 25th." I told her.
She kept bothering me as I sat on the couch and checked the notifications on Tumblr as well as my business emails.
"Doesn't he have a publicist or something that would be responsible for that type of thing?" She lightly laughed.
"No. He doesn't have a stylist, a publicist-"
"Why not? Shouldn't a celebrity have those things?" She questioned.
I giggled and shrugged. "He doesn't think that he needs them." I gasped when I thought of an idea. "If my promoting goes well, I could be his publicist!" I smacked my hand down on my lap.
"I gotta go. Aydin's upstairs still sleeping- he'll most likely wake up at around 10." I informed her.
She nodded her head and replied, "Good luck with the promoting."
To help with the promoting, I've started Fetty a Tumblr page.
I'm on there all the time anyways, so it would be a crime for me to not make a page.
I've also been telling everyone I see about it. Surprisingly, I've scheduled three interviews for Fetty to do once he got home, which will be in two days.
I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket as I got out to go to the store to get some snacks I'd been craving.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Girl," Taya panted, out of breath from whatever it is she was doing. "Have you seen the cover of People magazine?"
I squinted my eyes, entering the grocery store. "Nope. Haven't seen an issue of the magazine since I went to the doctor's office for a checkup on the baby." I responded.
I headed straight for the cake and brownie mixes. I think I grabbed half of the aisle.
"But why are you asking me if I've seen the cover of People magazine?" I asked.
"Where are you? Are you near any magazines?"
I walked over to the magazine section in the store. "Yeah, I'm by some magaz-" I stopped mid sentence once I'd seen me, Fetty, and Aydin on the front cover of People magazine. I was holding my hand up with my engagement ring on it to cover my face from the flashes of the cameras.
"Fetty Wap spotted on an outing with his "Trap Queen" and their son." I read. "I am not a trap queen, I've only been to the trap like two times. Where are they getting this stuff?" I giggled.
"Girl, you've been there like ten times and you learned how to cook. Don't play stupid." Taya laughed. "But flip to the..." I heard her flip through the magazine. "Fifteenth page."
"Fetty Wap spotted with his son and fiancée..." I quietly read. "I'm cuh-yute!" I squealed, earning a laugh from Taya. I continued to read the article. "Not only are they engaged, but they're expecting another little one." I squinted my eyes. "How do they know about me being pregnant. I've been wearing nothing but oversized hoodies."
Taya snickered. "Flip to the next page, Lexi."
I did as she told me and started to laugh once I'd seen the picture. I had on a regular t-shirt that showed off my baby bump and was stuffing a brownie in my mouth. Beside me was Fetty holding my hand.
"Um, this had to have been taken last week when he was in town." I spoke up. "I don't even remember seeing or hearing any paparazzi, but I do remember how good that brownie was. Oh my goodness." I reminisced.
"Shut your fat ass up." Taya laughed obnoxiously over the other end. "Start getting accustomed to the famous life."
"I'm not famous, Fetty is." I simply replied, putting the magazine back on its shelf and going towards the checkout. "But, you don't think the paparazzi will be trying to get into the hospital to take a picture of the baby once it's born- do you?" I worriedly asked Taya.
She heavily sighed. "Probably, most likely." I could tell that she shrugged.
"Damn it." I whined. "I have to go. But I'll text you later." I informed.
"Aight. Love you."
"Love you tooooo." I dragged out before giggling. "Bye."
"Bye."
I hung up the phone and put it into my purse.
After checking out, I got into my car and went home.
As soon as I got home, my mom and dad bombarded me with a magazine in my mom's hand.
"Lexington, you're on the cover of People's magazine!" My mom happily said. "You're also in the magazine rocking your baby bump!"
"Meaning that many people know about your pregnancy now, so you need to be careful when going out. I wouldn't want for anything to happen to you or my granddaughter." My daddy said.
I sat on the couch. "Nothing's going to happen to us daddy. I promise." I flashed a smile.
"I hope not, kiddo." He roughed up my hair a bit.
"Daaad." I whined, annoyed at what he'd just did. I fixed my hair and turned to my mom. I pulled out the brownie and cake mixes I'd bought earlier. "Mommy?" I raised my eyebrow and held them out to her.
She took them from me. "After you eat all of these, don't go out and buy anymore mixes." She pointed at me. "Comer todos estos dulces no es saludable para usted y el bebé." Eating all these sweets is unhealthy for you and the baby."
"Lo sé," I dragged out. I know. "But I crave these sweet things!" I followed her into the kitchen.
She began to put the other boxes of cake mix she wasn't using at the moment into the pantry. "Well you better start eating some fruit. Fruits are sweet."
"I eat pineapples all day everyday. You know I love pineapples."
"Then start exploring other fruits." She simply stated as she got materials to bake my brownies with.
I poked my bottom lip out. "I recently tried peanut butter with apple slices. They're life- but they can never take pineapples' place in my heart." I held my hand over my heart and giggled.
"Eres algo más." You're something else. My mom laughed, pointing a wooden spoon at me.
