-Five months later
Lexi...
"Who am I? Say ma-ma!" I cooed to Eliza.
"Nah, say da-da. Da-da!" Fetty laughed, taking her from me.
She continued to clap her hand and giggle. She made all sort of noises.
"I'm ma-ma. Say it, baby." I smiled, leaning in towards her. She grabbed some strands of my hair and pulled them. "Ow." I whined and moved away.
She laughed once I'd said that. "Oh my gosh, Za you are so mean."
My mom and dad walked through the living room. They were taking Aydin out to the aquarium today.
"Mom, dad," I turned around on the couch. "I have a question."
"Ask away." My daddy laughed, throwing his hands into the air.
"Okay, which one did I say first? Mama or dada?"
"Well, you were daddy's little girl." My mom stated.
"So, obviously you said da-da first." My dad laughed.
"Ahh, and you already know ZaZa a daddy's girl." Fetty teased as he held our daughter up in the air.
I hit his chest and playfully rolled my eyes. "You never know. She just might say mama first."
"I'll let you believe that."
"Can we go now?" Aydin groaned.
"Yes, you can go. Come show mama some love first." I laughed, holding my arms out for a hug.
He ran over to me, giving me a quick hug and a small kiss on the cheek. He also said his goodbyes to his dad and then he was gone.
I turned back to Fetty and Eliza. "Ma-ma. Come on, Za. Say it for me please?" I pleaded.
"You sound so pitiful." Fetty laughed.
"Shut up." I said and took her from him. "Ma-ma." I repeated. I took out my phone to record this moment just in case she decided to say it.
She started to reach for Fetty. "Dada..." She whined as her bottom lip trembled and held her arms open.
I gasped. "Will, did you hear that?"
He nodded his head. "I think I did." He took her and held her in front of him with a goofy ass smile painted on his face. "ZaZa say it again."
She giggled and grabbed his goatee, tugging on it. "Daaaa-da!" She squealed.
I began to clap. "Yay!" I cheered so that she would clap as well.
She caught on and clapped with me. "Yay, ZaZa." I kissed her cheek. "You said your first word. It wasn't what I wanted you to say, but it was your first word." I teased, giving Fetty the side-eye.
.....
I was on the phone with Taya. Apparently she'd seen something in the tabloids or something.
"Ma'am, could you just tell me what the hell you saw?" I laughed while cleaning out my closet.
I was trying on clothes to see what I could still fit and what I needed to work out to fit into.
"You know August Alsina?" She asked.
I shrugged. "Sure. His music is nice."
"Nah," She shook her head. "Do you 'know him' know him. Like do y'all hang out and shit?"
"Yes, why? I met him two months ago at some party I went to with Will. He was cool so we hung out like five times." I explained.
"You fuckin' him? Please don't ruin this perfect relationship that you have-"
"Woah, slow the assumptions down. I don't want him like that. I love my baby." I grabbed a crop top and held it up to me. I shook my head at it and threw it into a pile. "How'd you find out about me and August's friendship anyways?"
"You two are on the cover of this magazine I'm looking at." I could practically hear the smirk on her face. "You hugged up on him and shit."
"What the fuck she talkin' 'bout?" Fetty questioned as he got up from our bed. I had the phone on speaker he could hear everything.
"You don't have anything to worry about." I said and went back to my conversation with Taya.
"Send me a picture of the cover." I demanded.
A couple of seconds later, I received the picture of me and August.
I was hugging him but I remember that day.
It was actually yesterday and we went out to shop for a while since he was in town for a while.
He's leaving next week and I have intentions on hanging with him for a while before he has to go.
Anyways, I was giving him a friendly hug goodbye. That is all it ever was.
"Don't the paparazzi have anything better to do with their lives?" I scoffed.
"Nah. But I'll call you later. I need to cook." Taya said.
"Mkay. Talk to you later, boo. Love you."
"Love you toooo, Mrs. Alsina. Don't get yo ass beat." She responded.
"Get your stupid ass off of my phone." I laughed before I hung up the phone.
"When you become friends with August Alsina and why you ain't felt the need to tell me about it?" Fetty asked, standing in the door way of my closet.
I slowly turned around to look at him. "It's nothing. He's just my friend."
"And you couldn't tell me about it?"
"You weren't going to tell me about Masika." I crossed my arms across my chest.
"But I did!" He snapped.
"No you didn't. My bestfriend told me. So miss me with that." I waved him off. "I can have male friends if I want and you can't do anything about it. You don't trust me?"
"I-"
"Because you should. I've never cheated or given you any reason to believe otherwise." I grabbed a jacket and put it back on its hanger. "The person who should be worried about someone's friends is me with you and your female friend. And you have given me a reason to not trust you." I scoffed.
"So you gone keep bringing that shit up?"
"I've already gotten everything planned. What's the date you want to set for the wedding so I can have everything printed out on the invitations already?" I asked, trying to change the subject.
"You think you slick." He chuckled. "We not about to just forget you brought Jasmine ass up again."
"I don't want to talk about her, obviously I've made the mistake of bringing her up." I mumbled.
"Do you not trust me?"
"I do." I simply replied and put a hanger on my clothing rack. "So you should trust me with August. He's not even half as cute as you." I turned around to grab the sides of his face, squishing his cheeks.
"I have had two of your kids and I'm wearing this ring." I held the hand up that I wore my ring on. "So, who's winning?" I smirked with an eyebrow raised.
"I guess that would be me." He sarcastically answered before he pecked my lips.
