Lexi...
"Will," I whined as I held onto him. "Don't leave me." I felt the baby kicking. "Eliza's kicking. See, you'll be missing out on all of that."
I walked to the trunk of the car where he was putting away all of his bags. "Did you pack everything you're going to need? Did you leave your charger? You want me to go back inside to double check for y-"
He cut me off with a kiss. "You buggin'. I'm good." He laughed and wrapped his arms around me. "I told your parents bye, I told Baby Zoo bye, now all I need ta' do is tell y'all bye." He pointed at my stomach. "But you makin' this shit so damn difficult for me to do." He sighed.
"Okay, I'll say bye." I mumbled and puckered my lips out for a kiss. "As long as you call me when you get to where you need to go." I mumbled against his lips.
He kissed my lips again. "I will."
I'm guessing he could feel our daughter kicking because he stepped back. "Oh shit." He said, astonished. "Das my baby kickin'?" He laughed.
I grabbed his hand and placed it on my stomach. "Mhmm." I shook my head yes. "Eliza, daddy wants to feel you kick again." I cooed.
Sure enough, she kicked again which caused the both of us to laugh.
"I gotta go." Fetty told me, causing my smile to fade.
"Okay." I gave him one last hug.
Then, he got into his car.
"Wait," I pulled out my phone. "One last picture for me before you leave me for like a month." I teased.
He smiled and I quickly snapped the picture. "I'm gonna miss that smile." I whined. "Don't go." I begged again.
He laughed and started up the car. "No good."
"Put your seatbelt on." I instructed. His ass never wears his seatbelt and it irks my nerves. "I love you." I smiled.
He repeated what I'd just told him as well as putting on his seatbelt before he pulled off.
I stood in front of the house. I placed my hands on my stomach and continued to look in the direction he'd driven in.
"Did Will leave for the tour yet?" My dad asked when he came outside to check up on me.
"Yep." I croaked, feeling that lump in my throat. I was going to cry any minute now.
"Are you okay, princess?" He asked.
I instantly broke down into tears. It seems that when I'm sad and trying to keep myself together, someone asking if everything is okay makes me break the fuck down.
"Daddy, I love him so much. I'm going to miss him." I sniffled as he held onto me.
"You make it seem like he's going away forever." He chuckled.
"It's not the least bit funny." I slightly laughed. "I'm going to miss him." I replied with a smile.
He wiped my tears away and pulled away from the hug. "Can you calm down for me?"
"Duh. I'm okay now. He'll call me as soon as he gets to where he needs to be." I explained.
"You really love this boy, don't you?" He asked.
"With all my heart." I reminisced the first time we met. "We met only a month after I moved here with Taya. We started off as best friends and the rest is history." I smiled to myself.
"I can't wait to see you on your wedding day." My daddy nudged my shoulder. "I'm sure you'll be beautiful, of course."
"Aw shucks, daddy." I chuckled as we walked into the house.
.....
I heavily sighed when my "hotline didn't bling" like it was supposed to. I climbed into the large California king bed that Fetty and I shared, cuddling up next to his pillow.
But, I couldn't fall asleep whatsoever. I should definitely invest in a body pillow if I want to get some sleep around here.
Just as I was about to lay my head on his pillow, I felt something stick to my face. I pulled back to see a sticky note that said:
Go check in my closet, ma. I got you something.
I put on a curious face and slowly got up from the bed to go over to his closet.
What did I see?
A body pillow that I'd shown him at the baby store when we went together.
I smiled to myself, quietly cooing, "Aww. I love him so much." I hugged the pillow and walked back over to our bed to go to sleep.
After about ten minutes, I drifted off to sleep.
My cell phone began to ring on my nightstand.
I rolled over to look at my clock first.
2:46 AM.
"Who the hell thinks it's okay to call me at this time in the morning?" I grumbled and answered without looking at the caller ID.
"Hmm?" I answered.
"I thought I'd call you since I just made it to Missouri, but I see you sleepin' so imma call you lat-"
"I'm up!" I forcefully said as I sat up in my bed, rubbing my eyes. "I'm up." I repeated.
"So you was up?" He questioned. I could picture that cute little smirk he had on his face. "What you doin'?"
"Missing you." I whined, trying to get comfortable in the bed again.
"Quit sayin' that." I heard shuffling in the background. "Before I have to come home and cuddle wit' ya ass." He joked.
Playing along with his joke, I repeatedly said, "I miss you, I miss you, I miss you, baby, come home please."
I sat up for about two more hours talking to Fetty on the phone until we both dozed off.
