Lexi...
"Your ass just overreacted." Taya said through the other end of the phone.
"I did." I whined. "I know I did. But I'm mad that Jasmine just came up out of the blue with her daughter."
"Oh well." I could tell that Taya shrugged.
"Oh well?" I laughed. "What are you doing?" I questioned.
"Nothing at all. Talking to you, being bored, and eating some chips." She smacked on some chips. "When you gone get yo fiancé back cause you been irking my nerves since y'all split up."
I gasped. "Excuse me, I thought you wanted me to talk to you more!" I giggled.
"I thought I did. Go bother August." She laughed.
"...I just got done doing that. He's in town for a show."
She groaned. "Lord, don't tell me you had sex with him-"
"Ew, Taya gross. He's like a brother to me. That's nasty." I pulled my blanket up over my legs.
"Just because you break up with someone doesn't mean that you can go and have sex with someone. Sometimes your emotions get involved and I'm not trying to have any complications." I chuckled.
"All I gotta say is: do you." Taya replied. "I need to get dinner started."
"Ooh, I know. Aydin and ZaZa are with Fetty's parents this weekend so..." I trailed off. "How about you come over and we order some pizza, watch a movie...you know."
"No thanks. I really want that steak tonight."
"Come over and cook steak for the both of us." I suggested.
"You're annoying me now. Shut up and answer the door." She demanded.
"What do you mean answer the d-"
The sound of the doorbell ringing cut me off. I raised my left eyebrow and got up from my spot on the bed to go downstairs. "Taya, are you- bitch are you physic or something?" I questioned.
All I heard was laughing on the other end before she hung up.
"This is some crazy shit." I spoke out loud to myself.
I smoothed out the front of my oversized t-shirt- Fetty's t-shirt to be exact- before I placed my hand on the doorknob, twisting it and opening up the door.
I took a deep breath. "...Will." I stepped to the side so that he could come inside of the house. Our house.
"What are you um, doing here?" I placed a piece of hair behind my ear.
He plopped down on the couch. "I brought you somethin'." He stated as he waved around an envelope.
I sat next to him. "Okay? What is it?" I asked.
"Just open it." He instructed as he handed it off to me.
"Okay." I shrugged and started to carefully open up the envelope.
"So..." I trailed off while beginning to read the paper. I stopped reading for a minute to look up at him. "You went and got a DNA test?"
"Obviously." He sat up. "I'm not about to let Jasmine's false accusations ruin my future with my beautiful fiancée and kids." He smirked at me, putting his arm around me.
"That's sweet." I began to blush, so I looked down at the paper again. "You're not Camille's dad. She's not your daughter." I mumbled.
"She's not your daughter." I repeated with a huge smile painted on my face. "This is great news. Well, for us not for Jasmine because- let me just shut up." I slightly chuckled.
"So with the air cleared..." Fetty trailed off as he dug in his jeans' pocket.
He brought my engagement ring into clear view, or at least what I thought was my engagement ring.
It looked very different. Way much different than what it looked like the last time I'd seen it which was last week.
"Will you marry me? Again?" He laughed.
I eagerly nodded my head. "Yes, Will. Of course I will marry you. Again." I giggled while he placed the ring on my finger.
I brought my hand to my face to examine the ring. "This isn't my ring." I scrunched my face up. "Oh my goodness, it has more diamonds on it." I mumbled.
"I took it back, had it altered."
"Yeah," I laughed. "I can see that." I continued to admire my ring.
"So I can come home?"
I gave him a hug, placing my head on his shoulder. "Of course you can, baby. I probably wouldn't have said anything if you came home the same day I got upset with you." I admitted.
He lazily laughed before he kissed me. "You know I love you, right?"
I placed a smirk on my face. "Not more than I love you."
"Lie again. Ain't no way you can love me more than I love you." He scrunched his face up at me.
I passionately kissed him again. "I don't fib too much." I mumbled against his lips.
"I don't fib too much." He mocked and pecked my lips again.
"Mhmm... I love you." I giggled.
"Love you too."
"I know you do." I cockily replied before I flipped my hair over my shoulder. Then I glanced at my ring again. "You know you didn't have to do this."
"But I wanted to." He said.
"Mkay. One more time..." I grabbed the sides of his face. "I love you, Will."
He laughed before kissing me back. "I love you, Lexi."
I smiled and pecked his lips. "Another one." He mumbled.
"Fuck outta here, Dj Khaled." I teased and got up from my spot on the couch. "Meet me upstairs!" I seductively smirked before running up the stairs to our bedroom.
