Chapter 4

Kenzie pov

*Saturday morning*

My grandparents had sent me into town to get them a few things from the convenience store.

I knew how to get to the convenience store since I used to always walk there with Niall to get candy when we were younger.

I began my 10 minute walk to the convenience store. It seemed to take a lot longer since I didn't have anyone to talk to.

As soon as I walked in the door I immediately recognized who was sitting behind the counter. "Frankie?" I asked just to confirm. He looked up right at me and he quickly recognized me too "Kenzie." He stood up and began walking over to me. He opened his arms wide. "It's been a while since you were last in my store." He said. I nodded "yeah, it's been three years."

"I remember three years ago, the first summer that you didn't come Niall came into the store all alone and it was weird cause you were always with him when he came into the store. I asked him where you were and he said that you weren't coming. Why haven't you come back in three years?" He asked.

I didn't know what to say. I couldn't just say that my dad became an alcoholic and did drugs and he became aggressive and hit my mom and I and cheated on my mom and he wanted to have sex with me and then one day he left and I haven't heard from him in 2 years and I started to get bullied so we've moved four times in the past 2 years. "Just family stuff." I finally said.

I went around the store and got everything that they wanted. I went up to the counter and bought everything. "Thanks Frankie I'll see you soon." I said as I made my way out the door.

Once i got out the door I began walking back up the street. I accidentally dropped the bag and some things came out of the bag. "Shit" I said to myself as I bent down to pick up some things. I saw another set of hands picking up things and then putting them back into the bag.

I looked up and I was met with the most beautiful green eyes. I was looking into his beautiful eyes, I quickly looked back down so that I didn't seem completely creepy staring into his eyes.

I grabbed my bag and then I stood up. "Thank you." I said as I looked at the green eyed, curly haired beautiful boy. He smiled, damn that smile is perfect "anytime." "I'll uh see you around." I said as I took a few steps "I hope so." He replied. I smiled, I was probably blushing but at least he couldn't see my face.

Harry pov

I was walking down the street to go to the convenience store to get some last minute things for my party tonight.

As I was walking I saw someone drop her bag and some stuff fell out. I helped her pick up some of the stuff.

When she looked up I saw her beautiful blue eyes. They were like the ocean. She then looked away.

She is so beautiful, her beautiful blue eyes, her blonde hair, her little freckles by her nose. She looked familiar but I'm not too sure where I've seen her before.

She thanked me for helping her. "I'll uh see you around." She said. I smiled "I hope so."

Kenzie pov

*8pm on Saturday*

"I'm gonna go get ready for the party now, thanks for dinner." I said as I stood up and carried my plate over and set it down carefully on the counter. "Alright sweetie." My mom replied. My grandparents just smiled at me awkwardly.

I went upstairs and got in the shower. When I got out I put on a tank top and my dance shorts. I blow dried my hair. I was going to straighten it but then just decided to leave it natural. I put in some hairspray so that my curls didn't get too crazy.
