Chapter 28

Okay just so you know. In this chapter it keeps skipping time. I'll say like when it is but just so you know it's May at the beginning of this chapter.

Kenzie pov

Ni❤️: get to my house as fast as possible its urgent.
Me: what's wrong you bored on a Saturday night?
Ni❤️: babe please hurry this is really serious.
Me: okay I'm on my way are you okay?
Ni❤️: please just hurry

I quickly stood up from my bed and hurried down the stairs. "I'm going" I said as I put on my shoes "Kenzie what about dinner?" My Nan asked. "I'll eat later I just need to go bye I love you guys." I said before I quickly hurried out of my house.

I was worried. I hope he's okay. Ug what's going on.

I almost ran over to Niall's house. Once I got up the drive way I saw the door wide open and rose pedals. "What the fuck." I muttered under my breath. I walked inside and saw candles leading up the stairs with rose pedals.

"Niall." I called out but there was no answer. I followed the rose pedals and candles up the stairs. They led into Nialls bedroom. "Ni." Still no answer. What the fuck is going on.

I walked into Nialls room and he smiled at me. He was wearing a suit, which can I just say that he looks so hot in, and he had a white sign with gold sparkly letters on it that spelled out "PROM?" I looked at him and smiled. "Kenzie will you go to prom with me?" He asked.

I did a small run then jumped into his arms and kissed him. "Yes." I said with a smile as my lips brushed against his. "Good" he smiled.

I know that it's kind of silly for me to be so happy about this but no one has really done something like this. Put so much effort into something for me. I never even thought that I was ever king to go to prom. I figured that after my dad left and I got bullied all the time that I would just never go and just stay home and watch movies with my mom all night. I never thought that I would have a perfect boyfriend and he would ask me to prom.

How did I get so lucky?

"Have you bought your prom dress yet?" Niall asked. I laughed "no of course not, it's like a little less than a month away. And if I'm honest I never really thought that I was every gonna get to go so I didn't think much of it." I explained. "Even when we started dating you thought that you wouldn't go?" He asked. "Well I just spent so many years preparing myself for the fact that I probably wouldn't go that I never really thought much about it." I explained. "Well I'm glad that you're going and I'm even more glad that it's with me." He smiled and then gave me a kiss. "Me too."

ONE WEEK LATER

"You ready to go?" Ashely asked me. Ashely and I have been hanging out a lot ever since the day I told Riley off. I haven't herd much from Riley since then and a lot more people talk to me now.

Today Ashley, Sophia, Briana, Sabrina and I are all going out shopping for prom dresses and probably some other clothes. I am glad that Sabrina and Ryan hang out with all of us now. I hated the fact that it felt like I was leaving them out and that they kinda were alone. I mean they helped he threw everything.

I'm glad that Ryan gets along with the guys. Ryan always wanted to try out for the footie team but he was afraid that they'd make fun of him for being gay. Everyone gets along quite well. We've all gotten fairly close.

"Yeah" I nodded as I put my money in the back pocket of my jeans. We left my room and walked downstairs. "We're going now." I told my grandpa. "Getting a prom dress yeah?" He asked. I nodded my head and he pulled out his wallet. He handed me $200. "Papa no, I already have money." I told him refusing to take the money. "Use your money to buy you new clothes, this is what your mother would've wanted." He said. I gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you grandpa I love you, I'll see you later.
