Chapter 27

Kenzie pov

My alarm went off and I let out a groan. Why does it have to be Monday? Also a small smile came into my face when I thought about the great weekend that I had.

After we played footy for a while we all went out and got some pizza, then we went back to Liam's for a while. It was a really good day. It was nice to spend it with friends. Even before my dad left I never really had many friends and we never really did much stuff together.

As I did my hair I got a call from Niall.

"Morning beautiful" he said once I answered it. I smiled once I heard his beautiful voice.

"Good morning handsome."

"I'll be round to get you soon so we can walk to school."

"Alright. I'll see you soon than."

"I'll see you soon beautiful."

"See you soon handsome." I said before hanging up the phone.

I put on a mid-length sleeve shirt and black leggings and I covered my scars with makeup like I had done yesterday. I had gotten this shirt a while ago and always wanted to wear it out in public, now that I thought of covering my scars with makeup and bracelets I finally have that chance.

I walked into the kitchen so ready to show my mom my arms but quickly remembered that she was gone. Sometimes it doesn't feel like she's actually gone. I feels like she's just in the other room. I wonder if she'd be proud of me? I miss her so much it's not even funny.

"I'll see you guys later." I said to my nana and grandpa as I picked up an apple for my breakfast. "Bye honey have a good day at school" my nana smiled at me as I walked out of the kitchen towards the front door. "Bye" I simply replied.

As I grabbed my shoes there was a knock at the door. I let Niall in before I put on my shoes. Once I opened the door he gave me a kiss "good morning beautiful." He said as he slowly pulled away. "Good morning" I said with a smile as I put on my white converse.

"Bye." I said loudly to my nana and grandpa as I picked up my bag before walking out of the door.

"Did you have fun yesterday?" Niall asked as he intertwined our fingers. His hands were so warm. I looked down at our hands and how they fit perfectly together. I smiled then looked back up.

"Yeah I did." I answered looking up at him. He smiled and then looked over at me "So you'd say that you're glad that I dragged you out of bed?" He said with a sly grin. "I guess." I said looking the other way and kind of mumbling the words.

Niall stopped and jumper in front of me and did this weird little dance. He's such an idiot. Why do I love him again?
"Aha ha ha ha" Niall chanted as he did is weird little dance.

"What?" I asked staring at him. "You were all mad at me yesterday but you see I told you that it would be fun. Aha I was right. I'm a good boyfriend." He replied sill doing his dance.

I laughed and rolled my eyes. "Okay, just c'mom we'll be late for school." I said taking a step forward before he stopped me. "What?" I asked.

"We're not going until you tell me that you love me." He said standing up straight with a straight face. Oh this boy.

I took a step closer and wrapped my arms around his neck. "I love you Niall James Horan." He smiled and kissed my lips "I love you too." He said as he pulled away.
