Weeks flew by as birthdays and holidays passed. Michael's birthday party had been a planned surprise, put together by the boys and I at his house. It was marvel themed, as we all dressed as a different character - Michael obviously being Spider-Man, Ashton as Thor, Calum making an impressive Night Crawler, and Luke being Captain America. It had all ended well, with lots of music, dancing, games, and cake.

Thanksgiving came and went the week after, and I spent it with Michael and his family. I decided that staying with Michael would be easier on Luke's and I relationship as we tried to fix whatever problems we had. It had been a lot simpler, and I was able to avoid Liz's wrath about why I had left so abruptly, while basically enjoying a sleepover at Michael's every night. But, Luke had mentioned to me that, sooner or later, we would have to tell his mum about us, and see if she would be okay with me ever moving back in. God, I felt like an idiot for this whole mess but none of that ever mattered when I was in Luke's arms.

It's like his fair skin was made just for me, every time he wrapped his long arms around my waist and cuddled me into his chest, I had never felt more safe than when I was with him. His blue eyes, so entrancing, his perfect dimpled smile, the coldness from the lip ring every time he sent a kiss to my cheek, nose, forehead, anywhere on my body. He had changed, as he had promised. We went on dates, to the pizzeria on Main Street, to the movies, and most recently, to play mini golf.

And now here I was, Christmas morning, with a bag full of various items as Luke opened the door to his household, the aroma of gingerbread filling my nostrils with their inviting scent.

"Luna?" Liz almost gasped, shocked to see me after so long, not since Michael's birthday if I could recall it. My features let off an easy smile as I dropped my two bags on the ground by the front door, Liz coming to embrace me fully. "Wow, you only get prettier each time I see you." Pulling back and holding me at arm's length, she admired my choice of clothing, a pretty black and red dress that I bought from a retail store not far from the one I worked at. I had let my hair rest from my usual buns as it cascaded down my back in brown waves.

"It's so nice to see you Liz, I miss you and your cooking." She laughed at my words, a sound that filled the air around me and I could feel it physically making me smile as she drew her head back to catch her breath.

"You know you're welcomed to stay here again whenever you want darling."

"Actually," Luke spoke now as his dad stayed in a chair in the living room, watching some movie on the television. There were two other guys whom I thought to be his older brothers, one with a female's arm linked through his, making me grin at the gesture. "Could we talk in the kitchen?" Liz nodded as Luke and I followed her, leaving the boys, and one girl, behind in the living room.

"What's wrong love?" She questioned, her eyebrows furrowing as she looked up at Luke, considering how tall he was. I stood between the two as Luke looked down at his loving mother.

"So, we were originally going to ask if Luna could come back to stay with us," Luke started with a small smirk on his thin pink lips that he failed miserably to hide as he eventually broke out into a giant toothy grin. "But we wanted you to know something before you agreed."

"Is she pregnant?" Liz's jaw dropped and this time, I was the one with the look of confusion on my face. What was 'pregnant'? Luke had the same look on his face as if asking 'why would you think that?' Liz just shook her head at the two of us. "I'm not stupid kids, I know love when I see it. Of course you can stay, and since Jack is going to be staying with us for a while in his old room, I suppose you'll just have to stay in Luke's room. But," She paused and lifted a finger in front of both of our faces, almost touching our noses. "No sex. Take it to Michael's for all I care." I couldn't tell whether I should cry and hide out of embarrassment, or smile and laugh out of relief and pure ecstasy.
