When did you join Wattpad?

~ I joined Wattpad October 16, 2012

When did you start writing?

~ I have been writing since I was a really little. I've always loved to write.

What genres do you write in?

~ I mainly write Romance, Teen Fiction, Short Story, and Fantasy.

When do you prefer to write?

~I write when I'm alone and can think. It's kind of hard to write with all my siblings running around me!

What is your favorite part of writing?

~My favorite part of writing is publishing my writing and letting the world read it. Whenever I get a comment saying someone enjoyed my story, my heart swells and I get all giddy.

How do you find writing inspiration?

~Inspiration is every for me. It could be in a park tree, or a taxi, or a rug with an old pattern on it. I get most of my inspiration, though, through what books I read.

Why did you start writing?

~Just like reading, writing is an escape for me. All the problems I'm facing in the real world just melt away and it's just my characters and me together.

What influences your writing?

~Books. I love to read. I try to write my stories as well as the book I'm reading.

What is the most rewarding part of writing?

~Reading the comments I get from them. I feel so motivated and happy when someone tells me they enjoy the way I write.

How do you edit? Is editing stressful?

~My editing process. Well, I write out a few paragraphs of my story, and then I go back and read it through twice, just to catch any mistakes. Then I continue writing and then go back and read through it. When I'm all done writing, I usually put the story through a spell checker, just to be sure. It does take a while and is very stressful, but it's worth it.

Who are your favorite authors? Why? Do you find inspiration from them?

~My favorite authors are C.C. Hunter and Maureen Johnson because their books are so well written and, well, fabulous! When I read about how they would get rejected by their publishers one hundred times, but never gave up until they finally got their stories published, it gives me hope!

Any tips for new writers?

~Practice writing, never give up, read lots of books, and spell check. Always.

How do you promote your work?

~I wonder around the clubs and when someone has a question about someone or just wants to chat, I get myself in there. It's a really good way to meet new friends. I know it's been a lot harder for people to promote stories lately. Trust me, it's been hard for me too. Just don't give up and get involved as much as you can. It'll pay off.

Which of your stories are you most proud of? Why?

~I am most proud of(currently!) my story Invisible. It took me SO long to write and edit it. I made a lot of changes and spent a whole lot of time staring at my computer screen, but it payed off. I believe it is one of my best works and no mean comments about it will ever change my mind!
