How long have you been writing for?

I have been writing since I was about 12 or 13 years old.

What authors do you admire?

I admire quite a few actually but one in particular is Christin Lovell. She’s not a very well known author but she is very inspirational and I find the things she says to be very helpful.

Do you hope to publish any of your work?

I would LOVE to publish some of my works. To me that is the greatest accomplishment any author can have. To be able to have my books on the shelves for millions to enjoy would be amazing.

Whats the toughest part of the writing process?

For me it would be writers block. You know, you want so bad to get books or chapters done and then writers block hits and you go dead. And personally for me I don’t like to rush because I want to make sure I am giving my readers good quality material and I feel like with rushing they won’t get that.

Why did you decide to become an author?

Because I loved writing and I know that’s like the most obvious excuse but truly I love writing enough to want to share my material with others.

Where do you turn for inspiration?

Everywhere, it could be from something so simple as sitting down to dinner with my friends and family. I try to pull it from everywhere I can. I also get A LOT from my fans the more people and comments I see wanting more, the more it inspires me to write.

What do you find is the most rewarding part of writing?

Getting comments from fans. Nothing is better than having someone say how good the book is or how relatable my characters are. I enjoy knowing I am doing something right and giving people quality material.

Closing comments?

Believe and achieve! Being an author is very taxing sometimes. You deal with harsh criticizers and demanding fans it literally drains you. Then you go through points of "oh man my reads aren’t going up I don’t even know why I’m doing this" and "well I’m getting reads but no one is commenting or voting so maybe they don’t like it." Then you see other peoples read and thing and you’re like "gosh I just don’t know how they did it" but I try to tell myself not to focus on what others are doing but what I’m doing. Having faith in my own work and believing that if I work hard enough, one day I’ll get where they are or maybe if I’m lucky surpass them.
