When did you join wattpad?

I joined Wattpad late September of 2012. So a little over 8 months now.

What is the most stressful part of writing?

Writer's block, flow block, or any other blocks! Sometimes I would have an idea, but given the certain circumstances (like stress from school, family), it's hard for it to flow out in writing. For most people writers, writing is a way to let go of these daily stress, but for me, it becomes an obstacle.

How do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration through other books and writers. Every time I'm reading a good book, that tends to inspire me to write better. Being that I want to emulate that specific person. Same goes for ideas.

When do you write?

Whenever I have time, meaning weekends or lucky weekdays. School usually takes up most of my time, (and also sleeping, teehee), but I manage to find a way. Like during my 10-minute breaks while I'm in my SAT Prep class, or in the car, if an idea sparks.

What genre(s?) do you write?

I usually go for teen-fiction and romance. Those are definitely my favorite genres, and also my comfort zone. However, I do wish to branch out in the future and maybe take on paranormal, mystery/thriller, or non-teen fiction.

Which of your stories are your favorite? Do you plan to publish any?

Ohh!! I have a lot.. ish. My favorite ones are in my "My Absolute Favorite Books" reading list, but on top of my head, I must say Transient Wife, The Love Curse, Turning Pages, and The Rented Husband. Ohhh, those are GOOD Wattpad stories!! However, my favorites actual book will always be Battle Royale!!! Do I plan to publish any..? On Wattpad? Yes :) Real life? We'll see what happens!

How long have you been a writer?

I've been a writer for as long as I can remember, which was in 5th grade. The years before that, I was a reader (and still am), and it wasn't until that fateful day when my teacher advised free-writing in the back of my English notebook. That's where I wrote my first (and not so good) book. But from then on, I continued to pursue this "hobby", and here I am, sharing bits of myself to the world of Wattpad.

Do you have an editor, or do you edit your work yourself?

I actually do have a editor, and I absolutely love her!! She also has a Wattpad account, but wants me to keep her identity a secret for God knows why (shrugs). As of now, she is editing my main book Searching for You, for a couple of chapters, before leaving me alone and allowing me to spread my own wings.

How do you promote your work?

Well, now since there is no more SYS, I would go to the specific genre clubs that Wattpad provides and search for a discussion/thread that allows me to share my story. My editor/friend had also kindly promoted my story on her account, which was very sweet of her.

Where do you see your writing career in 10 years?

Ten years... I would be 26! Well, I hope I'm still writing in 10 years, and that I'm still on Wattpad. By that time, I wish to be "Wattpad famous", as my editor would say, and maybe I've published (for real) one book. Just one, I don't have to gave myself false hopes. One is enough :)

Any closing comments?

For all you writers out there, continue doing what you are doing, don't be afraid to take that extra leap or climb that one extra rock. Think outside of the box, be somebody that's not you. Explore!!! That is one of the best advise there is to expand your writing. And for you readers out there, I think it's time. Don't be afraid and don't be shy, truth of the matter is, your writing might be better than the next guy. Just pick up a pen, or since it's the 21st Century, pick up your laptop and starting writing & typing away. Don't let the robotic teachers at school brainwash you with specific structures, etc. Let your mind fly and spew out your finest creativity, because imagination won't hurt you. & Happy Writing!!!
