We rode in the RV and the car followed us. Noah sat by me. "You know, you remind me of Beth. She was amazing. I just.. never had a chance to tell her how I feel." He said. I smiled at him. "See. That smile. You two could have been blood sisters." He said. I smiled thinking of Beth's smile. The RV stopped and the men changed batteries. I got up to check on Jada, but Noah grabbed my arm. "It was my fault." Noah said. "What was?" I asked sitting back down just as the engine on the RV started. "Tyreese. I led him to my house. He tried to help me." He said full if doubt. "Nothing is ever your fault. Things happen the way they're suppose to. Never let your guard down." I said, giving him a long hug. We talked for a while. Then, I realized we were at Alexandria, so we got out. We all slowly walked to the gate. Eric opened it and let us in. The trashcan moved and Daryl shot the possum that knocked it down. We walked through the gate and Eric closed the gate behind us. Aaron told us that We needed to turn in or weapons, but Rick refused so Aaron said we needed to talk to Deanna first. "Sasha." Rick said. She turned around and shot a walker. "Its a good thing we're here." Rick said, walking away. We waited around as we took turns getting interviewed by the Deanna chick. When it was my turn, I walked into the room and sat in the chair across from her. "Brooke, right?" She asked. I nodded. "Do you mind if I film this? Our talk?" "Sure." I said. "So, how'd you end up with these people?" She asked. "I was in a prison. They found me, I helped them. I even became close to some of them." "Rick, Noah, Carl, Judith, Beth, Maggie, Jada, Michonne, Sasha." Deanna finished for me. "How'd you know?" I asked. "I see who you're with a lot." She said. I looked at her. "Do you get along with everyone in the group?" She asked. I nodded. "Do you think it's safe here?" "I never know. I just give it a chance. See how things go." I answered. She asked more questions and interviewed the others. Then, we had to turn in our weapons. I handed the lady my gun, but I was allowed to keep my katana. I walked into the house and looked around. "Wow! This is amazing!" Jada said smiling for the first time in a long time. The next time I saw Rick, He didn't have a bushy beard anymore and his hair was trimmed and stylish. I smiled and went back to looking around. "These are like mansions." Carl said as me, him, Carol, and Jada looked around. We finally sat down and everyone took turns in the shower. Michonne was in the bathroom for twenty minutes just brushing her teeth. I giggled at her. I grabbed some clothes and went into the shower. I heard someone knock on the front door to the house, but I ignored it, thinking that Rick would answer it. I let the hot water run down my body. I haven't felt this in a while. I washed my hair and body. Then I shaved my armpits and legs. I got out, dried myself off, and put my clothes on. I brushed my teeth good, helped Jada take a shower, and went to sleep. The next morning, Carl and I took Judith and Jada for a walk. An elderly man and woman called out to us and we walked up to their porch. They were adored by Jada and Judith. Rick came and said someone wanted to meet Carl and I, so he took Judith and Jada. Carl and I walked into the house and met three kids about our age. I didn't talk much. Carl didn't neither. "Lets play some video games." Carl said, which made me smile. We stayed for a while then went back to our house. I started to get ready for bed and soon fell asleep. The next morning, I woke up and Carol had some kind of uniform on. Her job was too make dinner for the old people. I played with Judith and Jada while everyone else talked about how they like it here. I picked up Judith and we went outside. I sat Judith on the grass and Jada continued to play with her. "I like it here." Jada said. "Me too. So far." I agreed. I took my bag off of my back and looked through it. I found them. The two dolls that Chloe carried with her everywhere. "Here." I said giving one to Jada. I gave the other to Judith. "Thanks." Jada said giving me a hug. "Look Judith." Jada said showing her doll to Judith. I heard yelling and I looked that way to see that Glenn was having problems with a guy. Deanna stopped it and made a speech saying that our group will be treated as equal as anyone else. She gave Michonne and Rick the same job. Deanna walked up to me. "You. Half of the week, you'll work down at the day care. The other half, I want you to work with Rick and Michonne. Sunday is an off day for you." She said. I nodded and smiled at her. We went back into the house to sleep. "I think we're safe here." I said to Noah.
