Goodbye Noah

I sat with Noah on the porch as we talked. I held Judith in my arms and Jada sat next to me. As we were talking, Noah leaned over and kissed my cheek. I felt my cheeks get hot. "Is Noah your boyfriend?" Jada asked. I smiled at her. "Yes." Noah answered for me although I didn't know the answer. "Jada, why don't you go find Mama so she can get you some of Carol's cookies?" Noah said. She smiled at him and trotted into the house. I kissed Judith's forehead and cradled her. "She's beautiful." I said. "She is." Noah added. I smiled at him. "Do you think it's safe? Here?" Noah asked. "I hope so. I really don't want to see anyone else die." I said griefing. We continued to talk for a while. Then, I Judith to Rick and Noah and I decided to go for a walk. My hand accediently brushed against his, but he grabbed it and intertwined our fingers. I looked over at him and we made eye contact. I smiled at him and playfully pushed him. "Hey!" He said. Then, he started chasing me around the street. We were acting like kids. After a while, I couldn't find him. I looked around the empty streets. "Noah!" I repeated over and over. I was quiet for a while, but then his arms wrapped around from the back. I screamed. "You scared me!" I said. He laughed. He looked at his watch. "Hey. Its time for Deanna's party." Noah said. He grabbed my hand and we walked to her house. She greeted us at the door. I smiled at her and pulled Noah into the hallway. He smiled at me as we watched our group talk to different people. Jada was with Michonne eating. Omg! What is that? Michonne has a dress on. "I giggled. "What is it? Do I have something on my face?" Noah ask we me, causing me to look at him. "Yeah. Right there.." I said kissing him on the lips for the first time. Maggie and Glenn walked to us. "Sorry to intrude, but I wanted to know how you guys are doing." Glenn said. "Good. This isn't really my thing ya know? This party. We should go." Noah said grabbing my hand. "What? No. You're not bailing on us." Glenn said. Maggie walked over to me and hugged me. "You two are cute." She whispered in my ear. I smiled over her shoulder. Then she pulled away and the four of us continued to talk. The next thing I knew Sasha yelled, "THAT'S WHAT YOU WORRY ABOUT?!" Then she stormed out of the house. I looked at Noah. "She'll be fine." Maggie said. Then we started talking again. The party ended and we went back to the house. I noticed Michonne's katana was hung on the wall and I smiled. "Hey Brooke." I heard someone say. Noah and I looked over to see Carl. "Hi Carl. Have you seen Jada?" I said back. "Yeah, she went walking with Michonne." He answered then walked away. "Well, you wanna go talk to Reg?" Noah asked. We walked to Deanna's house and Reg was sitting at the gazebo. We sat down and he started talking to us. I didn't talk much. I just listened to them bond over building stuff. "There's a lot to remember." Reg said. After a while, Glenn came and told us that he wants us to go with him on a run. We gladly agreed. We loaded the rusted white van and got in. It was Eugene, Tara, Glenn, Noah, Nicholas, Aiden, and me. I sat beside Noah. Music started and I started dancing. Everyone laughed at me. The van stopped and we got out and loaded our guns. We made a plan and I stayed close to Noah as we walked with Glenn. We joined the others at a building. Glenn banged on the door a couple of times then we went in. We split up and searched the place. It was dark and all I saw was a bunch if boxes. I felt something grab my hand and I started to scream, but they put their hand over my mouth. "Shh. Its me." I heard Noah say. Just then, something exploded and Noah and I fell to the ground. We got up and it there was smoke. I started coughing. "Brooke, you okay?" I heard Noah say. "Yeah." I said. I felt my face and it was bleeding. We made our way to the others as the snarling of walkers took over. I screamed as one grabbed me, but Noah shot it. We found Tara and her head was bloody. We heard grunting so we left Tara with Eugene and ran to help Aiden. There was a piece of metal through his shoulder. We tried to help him out as Noah shot some nearby walkers. We couldn't help Aiden so Nicholas told us to leave. Glenn still tried to help and so did I. The walkers soon came so we had to leave. Aidens screamed as walkers tore him to shreads. We ran around trying to find an escape when we came to a revolving door. I was stuck in one with Glenn. Noah was in another, and Nicholas was in another. "We're stuck!" I yelled. I put my hand on the door that separated Noah and I and he did the same. "I love you." He said. "I love you too." I said back. Eugene came by with the van and turned the music up causing some of the walkers to move. Glenn was trying to break the glass, but Nicholas was going crazy. He was trying to squeeze through the door and get out. "Its not safe!" Glenn yelled. Walkers bagan to get through Noah's door and started to grab him. "No!" I screamed. Glenn and I grabbed him. "Don't let go." He said before being jerked back. His face was planted on the glass again and I watched my boyfriend get ate by walkers. I started screaming and Glenn hugged me. He was shaking too. I starting crying. Glenn helped me up and we got into the van. I cried all the way back to Alexandria.
