I was walking down the street when I noticed a flyer that said..

Help!

Band member needed. We need a singer for our band. We perform every week at the main center! Auditions Friday.

It's too late. Auditions are over. I softly sang to myself while walking around wondering if this is all a dream. "You know, you have talent!" I turned around to see two girls. One with brown hair and brown eyes and one with blonde hair and blue eyes. "I'm Emily." The girl with blonde hair said. "I'm Paige." The other one said. "We had auditions for our band, no one caught our eye until we heard you sing." Paige said. "I have talent?" I asked. They both nodded. "How old are you?" Asked Emily. "I'm fifteen." "Us too!" I smiled at them. "So?" Paige says. "Okay. I'm in." I said. They gave me the schedule of rehearsal times. I obviously have the time. We practiced basically all week then it was time for the show. Everyone joined us in the huge main center building. Well, everyone except the guards. We walked on stage and started singing.

[Emily:]
We're standing on the edge of something
Do we stay or do we run
It's obvious that everything's changed

[Paige:]
My head can't seem to figure out
Why my heart is full of doubt
Maybe we're just tired of the game

[Brooke:]
Guess you never know what's gonna happen
So you do the best you can
Following your soul might bring you back
Or it may have another plan

[All:]
Please don't let it fly away, high away
Gotta keep it together
Feel for the flow
Don't fly away, high away
Please don't
No don't, don't let it fly away

[Emily:]
We've never felt this place before
Wondering if anymore
We can find in us what it takes

[Paige:]
It's not about who's to blame
I pray that they're just growing pains
Laughing while they're testing our faith

[Brooke:]
'Cause you never know what's gonna happen
So you do the best you can
Following our souls might bring us back
Unless it has another plan

[All:]
Please don't let it fly away, high away
Gotta keep it together
Feel for the flow
Don't fly away, high away
Please don't
No don't, don't let it fly away

[Brooke:]
It's yes, it's no
We stay, we go
Feels like we're questioning everything, yeah
We run, we fall, but through it all (through it all)
We never thought we would break
We never thought we would break

[All:]
Please don't let it fly away, high away
Gotta keep it together
Feel for the flow
Don't fly away, high away
Please don't
No don't, don't let it fly away

Please don't let it fly away, high away
Gotta keep it together
Feel for the flow
Don't fly away, high away
Please don't
No don't, don't let it fly away

We finished and it felt good. It actually felt like nothing is happening around us, but I know it is. There's no escaping the danger out there. A lot of people complimented me as I followed Michonne and Lexie to the apartment. Michonne looked back at me and smiled. "You were good. And that was the perfect song for a time like this." She said. "Thanks." I said. Michonne has changed a lot since the prison. She's gotten more sensitive. I'm wondering if it's about her son. I read a poster earlier that said this town even had an adoption center. I wonder if there's a little boy about Andre's age. I think Michonne said he was three. I can't wait to surprise her!
