"That bastard" Khepri muttered under his breath. I looked at him wondering how painful it would be to live with him. I heard someone walking and I looked towards where the sound was coming from. Ra walked into the room holding a glass filled with red contents that resembled wine. Ra! I ran over to him wrapping my arms around him and pulling my face into his chest. "Oh my god you're alive!" I looked up at him smiling. Ra chuckled putting his hand on the back of my head and pulling me into a tighter hug. "Of course I am I can't die," After standing with him for a while he slowly let go of me and looked over at Khepri who was standing there awkwardly. I stared up at the glass of wine considering taking it from him which was a bad idea all in all. Even if he didn't flip at me for taking the wine, If I even got somewhat drunk I would become the worlds greatest stripper known to man. Whenever I wake up after getting drunk I have to go on a jouarney and a half to find where I left my clothes.
"Khepri, I know what you want and yes, permission granted," Khepri's eyes lit up slightly as he turned into a scarab and flew towards Ra landing on his necklace and clinging to it. I fought back my sudden urge of wanting to poke his glistening blue shell. Ra turned his attention back to me, "So Dark, how did you get away from...it," So far, from what I've experienced was that the Eclipse wasn't treated as an equal, you wouldn't refer to "it" as the way you would refer to a normal person or god. The Eclipse wasn't really a person either, it was more like a mental disease like schizopherenia or multiple personality disorder. I explained to Ra what had happened after me and Khepri had retrieved Lucifer, who had mysteriously gone missing...As soon as I started talking about Tsuki and him trying to steal my soul he walked in. Ra looked over at him. "Hey brother," Tsuki said staring at him melting back into his normal form. At this point clinging to Ra's side being totally pathetic wasn't exactly the greatest. I could literally feel his skin as well at the room temperature rise, and I didn't like it at all.
"Moon," Ra started to talk. It sounded as though he was trying his hardest not to lose his temper at his brother.
"How...have you been....doing?" Moon picked his words carefully taking a few steps back.
"Good, good," Ra answered toying with him, "So where are the guards?" Moon flinched. I smirked at him as though to silently say 'Payback bitch'.
"How is your wound?" Moon asked backing up even more trying to draw Ra's attention away from the dead guards.
"Moon the guards," Ra narrowed his eyes. I moved away from Ra a bit since the heat radiating from his body was too much for me.
"Yeah...uh..bya" Tsuki said before running down the hallway. Ra's eyes glares at his brother who was running.
He created a large fireball in his hand. I backed away more so out of habit. Ra screamed, "Get him back!" and threw the fireball down the hallway which his brother ran. The fireball followed him crashing through doors and hallways until it supposedly hit him, "Well, it's good to know you're back to normal." I turned to Ra smiling.
He turned to me suddenly as though he remembered something, "Oh, that's right, Dark wear this before you make something break," Ra held his hand out to me. A golden braclet adorned with a red ruby in the center lay in the palm of his hand. I stared at it, blushing slightly. "It'll stop everything from becoming corrupted when you touch it." I stared at the jewlery. How did Ra know about that... He wasn't even here when I was touching the ground...
"If you don't want it, you can just give it back, I don't mind," I glances up at Ra's face with a little bit of shock spreading through mine. "N-no! No, it's beautiful!" I took the bracelet from his hand and slipped it on my wrist. Gold... Not exactly the best metal on a Shadow but who cares.
"So, what do you think of the divines," Ra looked around the room we were in as though admiring it.
"It's bright," I muttered looking down. Ra raised his eyebrow at me, "I mean, It's really pretty!" I tried to make my answer sound better. After all it was Ra's dimension so it couldn't hurt complementing it...
"Too bad Klaus isn't here. Then I could kick his ass after those insults. But then again I think what I did to his throne is better." Ra stared off into space as though lost in thought. I stood there uncomfortable. I didn't really like the divines..and to be honest I don't think the divines liked me either. I know it's odd to say a dimension doesn't like you but I can feel something in the pit of my stomach saying that I don't belong here. That I'm an outcast. "Dark, it's getting a little late," Ra fell out of his thoughts turning back to me once again.
"What? Why?" I protested. I wanted to stay here with him. I wanted to be safe in his arms away from danger and harm. So I could lose myself in thought about things that aren't life threatening or dangerous. I wanted to stay.
'You can't stay in a realm you don't belong in for long. Haven't you noticed? Don't you feel any weaker?"
No not really. I guess im just so used to being in different realms i've gotten used to my loss of power and learned how to make up for it. Ra took a sip of his wine. I starting considering on taking it again but instantly thought against it.
"And it's getting late, I'll be down in the mortal realm all day tomorrow so maybe we could hang out."
I zoned out blushing. Ra actually wanted to spend time with me? "O-okay," I stuttered.
"I'll make a portal back for you," Ra said smiling, "Or I could get Kana to since he's better at it then me."
"Okay," I repeated numb. I still didn't want to leave. I wanted all of my time to belong to Ra and no one else. Not even myself. Kana appeared moments after Ra called him.
"Dark," Kana's whispering voice called, "We found your dog, Aeron, he was hurt pretty bad but we managed to fix him up. Could you try not to let him fight or jump a lot." I nodded and Kana opened a portal to directly outside of my room.
"Bye Ra," I smiled at him one last time before turning to leave.
"Wait!" Ra shouted and I turned around. Ra rushed fowards pressing his lips to my forehead. He put his hands on the sides of my arms smiling. "I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" I nodded as Ra ruffled my hair slightly. I couldn't help but start involuntarily purring like a very happy kitty. It was natural Shadow instinct to purr as a sign of affection. I walked back over to the portal, stepping through it smiling and waving.
