Aeron whimpered slightly as if he could feel my pain, which was possible. I let my body reform above ground. I looked at my arms accessing the wounds. Majority of my skin was burned so badly some flesh was showing. Surprisingly not much of my clothes had burned, which defied the laws of physics. Then again, not much about me follows the laws of physics. I sighed and started reciting a healing spell in my head. The one I was going to perform was slightly more complicated then others since it involved hand motions. After going through the words a couple times I started saying them out loud while moving my hand in a circular motion around my arm, like I was putting an invisible gauze on it. I probably looked really stupid but I honestly didn't give a damn at this point. After I was done my wounds had turned into scars except for a few of the more severe ones, which had become first degree burns. My body wasn't in as much pain as before and I was able to walk without falling over.
I started to walk back to my room, processing what just happened. In about an hours time, I got lit on fire more than once, met two gods, battled a dragon, had a minor mental breakdown and passed out more times then necessary. That one god though, Ra. I couldn't seem to get him out of my head. It was like someone had taken super glue and glued a picture of him in front of my face so I couldn't forget.
It wasn't long before I reached my room. I put my hand on the brass knob turning it and opening the door. My room wasn't anything to splendid. It probably used to be one of the castles many small studies. The room was crafted of stone. There was a large arching window that used to have a glass pane over it. Now, the glass had been shattered making it a ledge to sit on with you legs hanging out on the side of the castle. My room was a part of one of the castles towers making it very high up in the air. If a mortal were to fall from here, they would have died from impact of the ground. The furnurature in my room wasn't too fancy either. I had a simple four poster bed that had green blankets and white sheets. There were two bookshelves jam packed with books that sat in the corner near the door. In the corner across from it my desk sat, not far from the foot of my bed. The desk had ink bottles and quills littered all over it as well as a stack of paper for writing on. There was a dresser on the wall where the door was.
I closed the door behind me and fell on top of my bed, Aeron jumping up after me. The sheets were still on the floor from their earlier rescue attempt and I was too lazy to pick them up. It was raining lightly outside and the wind rustled through the trees. The sound of the rain was quiet and soothing. I closed my eyes in attempt to go back to sleep. It only took a few seconds before another distraction formed, this time, being a rapping noise on my door. Whoever was on the other side didn't wait for me to say anything or get up and open it, they just walked in. The person happened to be someone I knew. She was a mortal girl with long dark brown hair and matching eyes. She wore a long black coat with a plain white t-shirt underneath and a pair of faded jeans. Her heeled boots clicked slightly as she walked in.
"Hi Dark!" She said enthusiastically. I sat up a little sleepy.
I smiled and remembered her name after a few seconds, "Morning Spirit..." I had a tendency to forget the wrong things way too easy, for example, I can't remember someones name, yet I can state the exact date of the first time I was raped. Not exactly the best memories were remembered all the time.
"I heard lots of screaming and yelling int he library and went to go investigate, but when I got there, there was nothing." Spirit continued talking, "Since this library was the one near your room I thought maybe you know something about what had happened." She looked at me curious. I sighed and explained how there was a dragon, and about the creepy twins, and about the green god of the moon and how the sun god and I got in a fight and stuff got burned. Spirit had moved herself out of the doorway by then and was sitting next to me on my bed. Aeron had inched closer to her and licked her hand and in return got a good scratch behind his horns. Spirit looked a bit concerned at my injuries but knew better then to ask if I was okay, since I would have said I was fine no matter what.
