*Clara's POV*

"Mommy!" I cry out as the men carry me away. "Sweetie, it's okay. Be strong!" She called back as she left my view. I cried and cried as the man threw me into a room. Another man walked in and said "Hello Clara, I am Mr. Smith and welcome to HYDRA."

-13 years later-

I have been with HYDRA for as long as I could remember. I've trained to become an assassin. I've taken out hundreds of people over the years. The red room, where I trained, is where I met Bucky, my only friend. But now he's gone. SHIELD saved him and helped him remember who he was. He was Steve's, Captain Americas, best friend.

Now I'm here, a year after his departure, still killing people for HYDRA. "Clara." The leader said. "I have a mission for you. You need to go to Starks tower and take some important files. You leave now." He continued. I freeze. Isn't Bucky there? I can't back out of this mission, it would make me look weak. I nod and get geared up?

What if Bucky is there? Would he remember me? I can't face him again, not like this. Since he left, my crush on him grew bigger. I sigh and get in a car and drive to Starks tower. "It'll all be fine." I say to myself "Get in, get out." Once I got there, I snuck into the office where the files were. Little did I know that Bucky was walking around the hallways near the office.

I grabbed the files but was startled by the door opening. I freeze, there was no way out. The lights turned on and standing in front of me was the one and only Bucky. "Clara?" He asked and I nodded. "Bucky, I've missed you." I whispered. Before he could reply, the whole team came into the room, weapons bared. This did not go as planned.

"Guys stop! She's my friend!" Bucky yelled and they looked at him. "She was my friend back in the Red Room. She's scared guys. Can't you see it!" He continued. Everyone stepped back and Bucky ran up to me and hugged me. "I don't want to go back there Buck. I'm scared." I whispered into his chest. He shushes me and said "You're not going back there Clara. Okay? I'll keep you safe." He soothed. I nod and Bucky turned to Tony. "If any HYDRA members come here, will you make sure they don't take her back for me?" He asked Tony.

Tony replied "We all will. The entire team. If she is that important to you, then we will help you." Bucky nodded and the team left, just leaving Bucky and I. I pull away from him and look into his eyes. "Ever since you left, I've missed you more and more. I finally realized that I love you Bucky. Ever since we met." I say. Bucky smiled and said "I love you too Clara. Always." He leaned down and kissed me softly. I kissed him back and wrapped my arms around his neck and his hands went to my waist. We pulled apart and he said "I'm with you till the end of the line."

I'm so sorry I haven't updated this book in a long time! I'm trying but I've been busy.
