*Samantha's POV*

I look at the clock, it read 12:00 am, Bruce was late again. I sat in our apartment watching tv. Bruce and I have been together for about a year now but he's always in the lab with Tony. I sigh and change the channel, I was determined to wait for him no matter what. I finally decided on Sherlock.

During the episode I started to feel tired. I leaned on my pillow and fell asleep.

*Bruce's POV*

"Bye Tony I'll see you tomorrow!" I yell walking out of the lab. "Come on Bruce stay a little longer!" Tony whined. I sigh "No I've got to get back to Samantha." "Ooooooo your girlfriend." Tony says playfully. Before he could say anything else I walk out of the room and down to the elevator. I was walking to the elevator when I ran into someone. I look up and see Steve there. "Sorry Steve didn't see you there." I said.

"It's okay see you tomorrow." He says. I walk down the street and to my apartment. I wonder if Samantha is still up? I walk into the apartment and saw that the tv was still on. I turn it off and see mop of blonde hair on a pillow. I sigh and say "Oh Samantha you didn't have to stay up." I knew she couldn't hear me.

I carefully lifted her up and brought her to our room. I set her down on the bed and went to go get ready for bed. When I was finished I thought for a moment. Should I stay here or go work on some of my work? I look over at Samantha's sleeping form and decided to stay with her. I slid in next to her and drifted off to sleep.
