Chapter 1

ELLIES POV:

"I can't wait for tonight!" Charlotte says looking excited as we walk home from school.

"I know, it's gonna be so awesome!" I answer.

"You gonna talk to some boys?" she asks me winking.

"Maybe,"  I smirk back.

We arrive at my house as I pull out my key from my bag. I unlock the door and Charlotte and I walk in while dumping our bags in the kitchen.

"Want anything?" I ask Charlotte as she is glued to her phone, probably texting James or something.

"Just water thanks," she answers, "James said he can pick us up tonight with Charlie if you want?"

"Yeah okay, tell him thanks," I answer.

"Okay," Charlotte smiles as I grab two glasses from the cupboard.

I totally forgot to introduce myself, my name is Ellie Lucas. I am 17 years old and am currently in year 11 at school. I live in Glenroy, Melbourne and attend Penola Catholic College with my best friends Charlotte Hall, James Yammouni and Charlie Knight. I live with my mum, dad and twin brother Riley and older sister Ashley. Riley and I are identical twins but are a different sex obviously. I am really close with my brother and get along with my family really well. I have long brown hair with bright blue eyes. I am pretty tanned and have a slim body. I have lived in Glenroy all my life and don’t plan on leaving anytime soon.

"So what are you wearing?" Charlotte asks as we walk up to my room.

"Hmm, my purple and pink high waisted shorts, black lightning bolt singlet, black converse and Obey beanie. What about you?" I answer as I look in my closet.

"Oh just my yellow smile shorts, nirvana top, yellow Doc Martens and my gold infinity bracelet," Charlotte answers while she curls her hair. (LINK FOR OUTFITS ON SIDE CALLED 'ELLIE + CHARLOTTE PARTY OUTFIT')

"Nice, I'm just gonna go have a shower kay," I say as I walk out, "If Riley comes can you let him in?"

"Yeah sure," she answers as she continues to curl her hair.

I walk to my bathroom and have a nice shower. I decide not to wash my hair because it would take too long to dry. I hop out and dry myself then get changed. I run back to my room to see Riley and Charlotte sitting on my bed talking.

"Hey," I say to Riley.

"Hi," he answers.

"Showers free," I say to Charlotte as I sit down in front of my mirror to put on my makeup.

"Thanks," she says as she walks out and grabs her stuff.

"Where were you today?" I ask Riley.

"With Luke and Jai," he answers.

"Oh okay," I answer. Luke and Jai used to be my friends up until a few years ago. They started to be really weird and secretive so we sorta drifted apart. Riley still hangs with them and stuff because they live next door.

"You coming tonight?" I ask Riley.

"Yeah, me, Luke and Jai are gonna check it out," he answers as he stands up and walks out of my room to get ready I suppose.

I continue putting on my makeup waiting for Charlotte. After about half an hour she comes back with her makeup already done. I look at the clock, it reads ten past six.

"James should be here soon," Charlotte says while putting her phone in her purse.

"Awesome," I answer. We head downstairs and watch some TV in the lounge room while we wait for James and Charlie. We soon hear a beep and head out the front.
