Chapter 22

ELLIES POV:

I slowly open my eyes to see the sunlight streaming into my room. I look around to find myself in the hotel room but feel something over my bare stomach. I turn my head to see Zane sleeping peacefully with his arm over me. I try to get up without disturbing him but he wakes up.

"Morning," he mumbles in a husky voice.

"Morning," I smile. Zane looks down with his eyes wide at me. I look down to find myself with no clothes on at all.

"I'm so sorry," I blush as I grab a robe off the side of the bed.

He laughs, "It's all good." There is silence for a bit.

"So what did you want to do today?" Zane asks me.

"I don’t care, up to you," I smile.

"Let's go down to Darling Harbour?" he suggests.

"Okay," I smile. Zane gets up and slips on some shorts before walking out to the lounge room leaving me to have a shower and get ready. I hop into the shower and let the water run down my body. I feel so great being here with Zane, he makes things better and I don’t know how. I wash my hair with the hotels complimentary shampoo and conditioner before hopping out of the shower. I rummage through the drawers to find a hair dryer.

I blow dry my hair and then tie it up in a messy bun before applying some makeup to my face. I then get dressed into some light blue short overalls with a plain white t-shirt underneath and my white low-cut converse. I grab my aviator sunglasses and walk out to the lounge room. I find Zane already dressed in some yellow shorts with a black singlet which show off his muscles perfectly and black vans. He also has Rayban sunglasses on. It is a pretty hot day outside so that is why we're in summer clothes.

"You ready?" he asks me.

"Yep!" I say popping the p. He smiles before grabbing his phone and wallet and heading out the door. I follow him and watch him lock the door before we go down to the lobby in the elevator.

"So where exactly is Darling Harbour?" I ask as we walk down the busy street.

"Just over there," he says pointing to a massive building.

"That doesn't look like a harbour…" I say trailing off.

He laughs, "No silly that is the Imax theatre, it is on the harbour."

"Oh I knew that," I laugh. We continue to walk over to this so called harbour and before we know it we're walking past the Imax theatre.

"See, a harbour," he says gesturing to the water.

"Yeah I can see that  now," I laugh.

"So where to?" he asks me.

"I don't know where I am going," I laugh.

"Well we can go shopping or the aquarium, you will probably want to go shopping," he rolls his eyes sarcastically.

"The aquarium," I say. He looks at me confused.

"I'm confused, you're a girl and you're saying no to shopping?" he asks me.

I giggle, "Yep."

"I'm not arguing with that," he winks before taking my hand and leading us off to the aquarium. Butterflies fill my stomach as he takes my hand. I think I may be developing a crush on him. But what about Beau? After everything I have been through with him, I waited forever for him. I decide that I will just worry about him when I go back to Melbourne. I'm here with Zane and I am having fun so why should I be all sad about Beau? I shouldn’t be.

"The sharks gonna eat you Ellie," Zane laughs as he points to the massive shark swimming above us.

"Shut up," I smirk. I told him about my fear of sharks, I know it is silly to be scared of them but I have seen way to many shark movies alright. Have six boys as your best friends you don’t really get to have a choice in what you watch.
